Our little gang of 5 divers just spent 10 days at Atlantis Dumaguete. From the time we were met at the airport until the time they took us back to the airport (and walked us to the check in) the staff could not have been better. Exceptional assistance with everything and anything. The staff knew our names in no time and took outstanding care to be sure we were happy. We interacted most with our dive guide, Art, and the dive staff. We did not touch our gear the whole trip after putting it together once for them to know our preferences. Art has x-ray vision and found things that I still could not see after being pointed out! I did finally see it, but wow! Since it was wavy and a bit rough while we were there, the dive staff helped us wade out to the boats and back. One day it was so rough that they made a line and passed us from one to the next to be sure we got in safely. Very impressive! The resort staff also made us feel like we were the most important people there. The chefs prepared different menu items every day. Breakfast was a set menu, but requests were honored. I preferred my standard 2 eggs on toast and while that was not exactly on the menu, no problem! Lunches and dinners offered 3 mains and a vegetarian and vegan option as well as a starter and dessert. During the 10 days we were there, never a repeat. On the days we went to Apo Island and on the whale shark excursion, a chef came along and grilled lunch. Again, at least 3 main options as well as salads and dessert. The diving was great. It was a mix of "muck" diving for the really unusual and strange creatures and reef diving for the colorful reefs and fishes. Dives were about an hour each and the sites were close to the resort. We dove mostly from the small boats, except for the Apo Island days.

All inclusive food was amazing. Staff was attentive and felt like famiky- we all fell in love with Annie. Hope to return.

We had a group of 5 divers for our 10 day visit to Atlantis. We are all 65-70 years of age. The resort keeps divers to groups of 6 or so. We had a group of 5 divers for our 10 day visit to Atlantis. We are all 65-70 years of age. The resort keeps divers to groups of 6 or so. We had the good luck of getting Art assigned as our dive guide for the week. Most dives we were in the smaller “Speedy” boats and used the large outrigger boats for the Apo Island trips. We added an extra Apo Island trip after the first visit. The dives in general were spectacular with many nudibranchs, frog fish, pipefishes of wide variety and behaviors (including mating nudies and nudies with eggs). The dives are a mix of sand / muck and either small coral heads or artificial reef structures. This was a near ideal mix for those of us photographers with our heads down by the bottom and our other divers still getting a good overview and spotting the huge turtles or blue ribbon eels. This is definitely a place to have your gopro as well as the camera for macro shots on each dive. We also did the “black water” and Mandarin fish dives with great success. For out last day prior to flying we went to Oslob for snorkeling with the whale sharks which was great fun, plus we had a private area for our lunch and changing facilities after. The food was excellent with many choices for each meal. Lunch and dinner generally had beef pork chicken or fish (typ. 3 of the 4) as well as vegetarian offerings. As a couple of us are on GLP-1s, the requests for smaller or half portions worked out well. Snacks between dives were cookies or cakes (banana is great) which we did need after some of the higher current dives. The staff overall was great everyone knows your name (including gardeners). We did have the luxury of the resort being not very full the first few days, but it did get up to 40+ for the 2nd half of our stay and the service was still impeccable. We all signed up for massages after a recommendation from a friend and some ended up with multiple over the week. The weather was windy a couple of days and the waves came up which made for a bit of challenge getting off the boats. One day the swells were 4-5 feet and we were on one of the big outriggers. The staff set up a “bucket brigade” for humans and swept us safely in (very impressive). As we left, the seas turned flat... We definitely recommend the resort!

Excellent stay and great diving experience. The hotel feels like a beautiful garden resort. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the restaurant, housekeeping, and the diving center team. Although the official check-out time was 11 a.m., they kindly allowed me to extend it until 6 p.m. because my flight was in the evening, which I really appreciated. The diving instructors and boat crew were very professional and made the dives smooth and enjoyable. Note: The water temperature in the Philippines is around 29°C, slightly cooler than Indonesia and Thailand, so a thicker wetsuit may be more comfortable.
