Atlantis Dive Resort was recommended to my wife Michelle and I from a friend who had previously stayed and loved the experience. I was incredibly impressed by all staff from the initial welcome to the final departure after 5 days. The personal connection and attention to detail of all staff across the resort is something I have not previously experienced. Congratulations to the management team for how this resort is run!!! Having only recently completed my PADI OWD certification in May 2026 it was fabulous to have Ruel assist me as Divemaster for 3 days of diving. I now feel confident with diving. Apo Island diving sites (day trip on Atlantis boat) are out of this world beautiful. Next time I will also include the day trip to dive with the whale sharks. Food was exceptional and delicious. Varry as head chef does a great job with his team. Rooms are basic, mattress was very firm, but that is OK for divers. Very quiet at night after a day of diving.......Made friends with other like-minded divers, many from US, who all seemed to like the experience of Atlantis. Many had also stayed previously at the Puerto Galera Atlantis dive resort. I will definitely return to Atlantis Dumaguete in the future and would recommend Atlantis to others.

I led a trip for 13 members of our scuba club and our 10 day stay at Atlantis Dumaguete was exceptional in every way. Starting from our first contact with staff where EVERYONE knew our names before even meeting us, to the farewell dinner on our last night, every staff member at the resort was attentive to our group's every need. The rooms are very well appointed and the grounds are park-like. The dive masters are fantastic, friendly, patient, and go over and above to find the most exotic (and invisible) critters for our photographers. Boat crews were very professional and between them and the dive masters, it made for one of the easiest dive experiences any of us have ever had. The kitchen and dining area staff were always super attentive and service was responsive and quick. The gourmet meals were presented like works of art and no one ever went hungry. In short. Finally, front desk staff were also there for our every need, from bringing in a docotr on short notice to help get our divers back in the water, to arranging land excursions and trips into town. I can't say enough good things about our stay. I highly recommend it!.

I spent 10 days at the Atlantis Dive Resort with our dive club. For people that like to to get a lot of diving in this definitely fits the bill. We had 5 dives per day scheduled and it kept us quite busy. The diving was a combination of Muck/Sand and Reef Diving some done as drifts and some returned to the boat. The room we had was very comfortable and had plenty of space for 2 divers. The pool was nice along with the adjacent spa. The restaurant and bar had excellent food and had a different lunch and dinner menu each day. The staff at the restaurant, front desk, dive shop etc. were absolutely fantastic and knew the name of every guest and treated people like family. Over all i really enjoyed this resort and found it to be one of the best run resorts I have stayed at.

This is a phenomenal resort! I was there scuba diving with a group and then stayed an entire extra week as my group moved on as the resort is just that special. The service is beyond excellent. The team that works there goes out of their way to make sure you enjoy it. The tropical gardens provide that “resort” atmosphere while the spotlessly clean room makes you happy. The rooms vary from sized for couples, friends, to entire families and are roomy with exceptionally nice bathrooms and lighting. The entire resort is quiet with the rooms on the ocean giving you the ocean wave sounds if you choose to keep your balcony doors open. One thing I appreciate is the fact housekeeping is great about keeping doors closed so no mosquitoes to worry about in rooms! Food is exceptional and they can cater to my severe shellfish allergy with no issues. Plus as a bonus, the staff remember my preferred coffee (double shot mocha light on the chocolate) and calamansi infused ice water after teh first day (Kudos to the team under Albert (Ali, Rachel, Annie, Tim, Roxy, Cherry, King etc). There is a standard menu but I choose one of the 5 specials every day (2 meat, 1 seafood, 1 vegan, and 1 vegetarian) plus soup/salad and beautiful and tasty deserts. Everything is made in house including the bread (which I ate way too much of). The dive guides are exceptional under Junnar and while I dove mostly with one, every one I have driven with was great (Wing, Harold, Alf, Genie, Norway, Jason, Warfi, Art) plus the skiff captains carried every bit of my gear and made sure even in surging water I had no trouble getting in and out at the beach (Arnold, Jayson and Ating). Once you let them know your preferred setup, they set up your gear (you analyze the tanks) and take them to your skiff with everything but your mask. They are very careful with camera setups so you can trust them to carry. Diving from teh skiffs is a back roll but you take off all your gear in the water and hand it up before going up the ladder so makes it beyond easy. To top it off the location is perfect for the much diving of Duain. For those that lover reefs, APO Island is a short boat ride away and they offer 3 dives there several times a week and locally they will take you to the reefs but this resort is known for much diving (e.g. macro photography looking for small creatues that live in the sands such as nudibranchs, frogfish, seahorses, snake eels, shrimps, anemone with fish, mantis shrimps, octopus (including mimic, blue ring, coconut, wunderpus) plus phenomenal black water diving. I was alone for a week but never lonely as the staff feel like family after awhile and the manager Cedric makes sure you have everything thing you need.
