Went scuba diving with Easy Diving. My brother stayed in the hotel and the room was fantastic. I used the restaurant and the dive facilities. The guides were amazing. The absolute highlight of this place is the staff. Everyone we encountered was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming—classic Filipino hospitality at its best. They really make you feel taken care of, and that alone goes a long way. That said, the resort’s main strength is clearly scuba diving. If you’re here primarily for that, you’ll probably be happy. But for the price we paid, the rest of the experience felt a bit underwhelming. It’s not outrageously expensive, but I do think you can find better value elsewhere for the same budget. Room & Facilities Because of the island’s natural layout, the resort has a lot of stairs. And I mean a lot. About 30 steps just to get to our room. This meant we had to plan everything before heading up—bathroom breaks included—because once you’re up there, you really don’t want to go back down unless you absolutely have to. I won’t recommend this to the elderly especially those who aren’t physically active. The room itself was… fine. Nothing special. There’s no TV, which at first felt understandable—you’re on vacation, be present—but the problem is there also wasn’t much else to do at night within the resort. We often found ourselves leaving or just watching other groups drink or play sports outside because there wasn’t any in-house entertainment. It would be nice to have an activity planned out every night, perhaps those that involve interacting with other guests and a live band. One thing that really surprised us: no cups, mugs, kettle, or even a pitcher of drinking water in the room. No room service either. I understand not offering food delivery, but room service for cleaning requests or emergencies would’ve been nice. Having to walk all the way to the restaurant just to get water kind of defeats the whole “relax and unwind” vibe. Cleanliness & Maintenance There were some small but noticeable issues. The bathroom trash bin looked unwashed—there was still dirt on the lid when we arrived. The towel rack was flimsy, and the bathroom cups smelled strongly of fluoride, probably because they’re plastic or silicone. I personally didn’t use them because I couldn’t stop thinking about how many guests had used them before. Food Food was decent overall. Breakfast was very basic. The corned beef tasted like it came straight from a cheap can, which was disappointing considering it was priced around ₱290. For that price, I expected something a bit more homemade or elevated. Final Thoughts This place has great staff, solid diving activities, and peaceful, but it falls short on comfort and basic amenities for the price. A few improvements—like drinking water in rooms, proper cups, better cleaning standards, and maybe laundry or dry-cleaning options for long-staying guests—would make a big difference. It’s not bad, but it could definitely be better.

We showed up without a reservation around 8:30 in the evening. Luckily for us, they had three rooms available. We only stayed one night due to there being too many steps. We showed up without a reservation around 8:30 in the evening. Luckily for us, they had three rooms available. We only stayed one night due to there being too many steps. From where one parks the car, to get down to the reception is exactly one hundred steps. One hundred steps up and down each time you want to come and go from the place. From the restaurant to my room was a mere sixty steps....up and down to the restaurant. The food was good and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. As always, if you can, book online prior to arrival or you will be paying considerably more for your room. That was our mistake, and we know better but it is what it is. If there were not so many steps to deal with, I'd probably consider staying here again...but that isn't the case this time.
