“Good hotel ”

I stayed here a couple of weeks while in Dumuagete. It's a great location. The rooms are nice and clean with a kettle and good wifi. The staff are all quite friendly and helpful. The breakfast is not worth it so try not to include breakfast. Also it's cheaper to book direct than online.

I can't say enough about this hotel. Customer service was professional, efficient and welcoming. The staff never failed to greet me with "hello sir" and wave and smile. Always helpful when I had questions such as "what's the best way to get somewhere?", Etc. Location is excellent with being close to the beach walk, many restaurants and access to public transportation. Property is well maintained and clean. My room was plenty big for one person but family rooms are also available. Only one thing that may bother some is the hot water was out for one of my 3 day stay. However this was a minor inconvenience for me and did not keep me from issuing this 5 star review.

Great AC, nice staff, charge for extra towel charge for room service and did not tell us. No microwave available after hours, Bathroom window not covered for privacy. Amex card not accepted but accepted online. Charge me a higher rate then Agoda. Overall a safe, clean place for the price. Great sec… more

“All in all a good place to stay for the money”

I thought I had booked a King room. Ended up in a room with two twin beds. The room was a good size however the furnishings were lets say not so comfortable. The beds were fine. The staff was good. It wasn't until the last day of my stay that I found out they had a restaurant if you want to call it that. The resto, had several tables and looked like it was closed. I placed my order and the server walk out of the room and disappeared, he came back a bit later and told me they had run out of some of what I ordered , it took 3 attempts to find something available. The space was enclosed with doors open because there was no A/C. They did however have room service. The hotel was in an area prone to brown outs, I found out after having walked a good distance and was tired. Having bad knees climbing stairs is murder. And with the power out that meant no elevator or A/C. But I figured what the heck, I'm in the Philippines. The hotels location is a couple blocks from the Blvd and plenty of Restaurants nearby. All in all a good place to stay for the money but make sure that the room has the Beds you want.
