We absolutely loved our stay at Cadlao El Nido. Location Perfect location close enough to town and a beautiful environment. Staff All of the staff were so attentive and helpful, especially Girlie, Francis, Mary and Kate. Food Breakfast was great, service was quick and lots of healthy options which we loved. We had one dinner at the restaurant and it was probably our favourite meal of our 3 weeks in The Philippines. It is a bit pricier than eating in town but well worth it. Service/amenities I had an amazing massage which left me feeling so relaxed - I wish I’d made time to have more! The pools were always quiet and clean and had the most amazing views with plenty of sunloungers. The trike to and from town was always available when we needed it (we usually liked to walk as it was so close but it was a nice option to have). They also helped organise a car to and from the airport which made our journey very smooth. Housekeeping were super attentive and we could request our room to be cleaned everyday if we wanted. Overall, we had such an amazing stay at Cadlao and the hotel is a credit to the staff who work hard to make it a beautiful place and for each guest to have a wonderful stay.

Cadlao is a quaint little resort just a 5 minute ride from El Nido beach. We stayed here for 4 nights and 5 days in January 2026. The staff was welcoming, kind, and helpful. We stayed in the Deluxe cottages which were just as pictured in the photos. The AC worked great and the room was clean upon arrival. The only room complaint would be about the drain flies and gnats in the bathroom. Not troublesome or nasty, just kind of annoying to deal with. However, this was not a problem in both of the deluxe cottages we stayed in - just one of them. If you can look past this (like we did), the room was fine. Because of the narrow road leading up to the resort, the resort provides free rides to and from El Nido beach and Town Square. These were easy to set up throughout our stay - you just call them via WhatsApp to ask for a ride and they pick you up within a few minutes. The best part about the resort was easily Jinjer restaurant! Our waiter Francis was the sweetest and most attentive. We loved having him throughout our stay. The food was phenomenal - every dish hit and portion sizes were more than enough during breakfast and dinner. The included breakfast buffet and additional plate was the perfect start to every morning. We appreciated that they offered a rotating pastry bar so it wasn’t the same thing every day. We had dinner here every night and loved each one. Every dish we had was great, but the grilled fish, kare kare, and Lechon kawali are worth highlighting! The desserts were to die for - highly recommend the Wild Turmeric Lava Cake, Coconut Crème Brûlée, and the Biko with Ice Cream. At the end of our entrees we were stuffed, but needed to make room for the delicious desserts. So worth it. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Cadlao. The resort itself is beautiful, the staff was great, and it was in a convenient location - close enough to downtown but far enough for R&R. The food alone is what makes it worth staying here. Even if you don’t stay at Cadlao, would recommend visiting Jinjer restaurant for dinner one night.

“Nice smaller hotel”

Very nice smaller hotel. Very good and friendly service. Breakfast was nice but the selection of food choices was not very large. There is a beach but it is not a sandbeach and is not swimmable, only rocks. Villa was clean and nice but there was mold in the shower. Very nice views.
