Long drive from the airport on winding roads but the hotel is in a beautiful location. However there is nothing around the hotel apart from the underground river and a 3 restaurants, a shop and another resort further along the beach. We ate in a local restaurant a few times which was owned by a German guy and his lovely wife. Our room was beautiful got a corner suite upgrade. The only problem with the room was the toilet seat was all stained and looked disgusting for a 5 star hotel! The shower was not cleaned properly it was so slippery and only got cleaned when I asked housekeeping if they would clean it. Housekeeping wasn’t very good. Breakfast was good and staff were lovely. The pool was huge and beautiful always lots of empty loungers.

I am on my final.day here and very sad to be leaving. The nautral beauty and rwmoteness of this place makes it so special. It is worth the distance from the airport. The staff cannot do enough for you. MARK AND RUBYLYN, you two get a special shout out for the pool bar. The food is great I ordered an organic farm salad with grilled chicken with citrus dressing multiple times. I ordered chicken sliders that were amazing. They will make you a fresh custom made omelet each morning. I was upgraded to one of the best king size suites based on my status with Marriott. I was given a turtle platter of deserts as a welcome and a chocolate cake desert another night. Happy hour 4-7 buy one take one is fabulous. The beach is beautiful and you can see the lush mountains all around. You can walk into the town. The Underground cave tour was amazing, shout out to JR for booking this. The place is spotless, modern and a huge pool with a jacuzzi. Only thing sad is the stray dogs. I would get them some food each day. I will definitely return!

Our stay at Four Points by Sheraton Palawan felt like stepping into a quiet corner of paradise. I travelled with my girlfriend and another couple, all of them visiting the Philippines for the first time, and this place set the tone for the entire trip. From the moment we arrived, the setting did exactly what you hope Palawan will do: crystal blue waters, soft white sand, and that laid-back island energy that makes you slow down without even trying. The pool overlooking the sea quickly became our daily spot, whether it was for a morning dip or just unwinding with a drink in hand. A small thing to note, yes, you’ll occasionally hear tour boats passing by at the beach. There’s a nearby port servicing trips to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Underground River, which is only about 10 minutes away by boat. But honestly, it never disrupted the experience; if anything, it’s a reminder of how close you are to one of the world’s natural wonders. Getting there takes a bit of planning. The resort is about a 1.5-hour drive from the airport, and the journey includes narrow, zigzag roads that might feel a little intense at times. That said, the drivers are highly experienced, and we felt safe throughout, just something to be aware of, especially if you’re not used to those kinds of roads. Definitely arrange your transfers in advance to make things smooth. The team at the resort were genuinely warm and attentive, always ready to help. Service isn’t fast-paced in the traditional sense, but that’s part of the island rhythm. Once you settle into that slower pace, it actually enhances the whole experience, this isn’t a place you rush through. Overall, it was a memorable stay for all of us, especially for first-timers to the Philippines. A perfect mix of natural beauty, relaxed atmosphere, and heartfelt hospitality. Note: Mosquitos are everywhere even in your room, but that is expected in Palawan as it is surrounded by nature.
