Been to Boracay 11 times since 2012, in this trip- stayed solo w/10 nights, this is my 3rd stay in Newcoast, 1st in 2020 in Savoy and 2021 in Belmont Location – A bit far from center and workable for me. Peaceful and relaxing. The whole Newcoast looks promising. Staying here needs a little planning if you want to maximize the complimentary shuttle service, but it’s manageable. There are also HOHO buses going around the island every 15–20 minutes, plus plenty of e-trikes available. Atmosphere – Bright, welcoming, and thoughtful designed interiors. The crowd is generally relaxed, respectful, and family-friendly, pleasant atmosphere. Rooms – Spacious, clean, and well laid out. I liked the different lighting options, functional interiors, and the balcony. The bed was a little firm for me, but the linens, towels, couch, and pillows all comfortable. Cleanliness – The hotel was spotless throughout my stay. I liked the fresh scent around the corridors and elevators in the mornings—it reminded me of sampaguita. Housekeeping is done upon request, I appreciated the staff checking if I needed room cleaning. Special thanks to Cha, Acy, and John Erick for their assistance. Noise Level – Quiet. My balcony overlooked the pool and the road where trikes, buses, and vans pass by, yet I barely heard any outside noise. The hotel does a good job managing noise levels. Service – Apart from a couple of very minor mishaps, the service was spot on. The staff on the 6th floor were attentive, as were the front desk team, security personnel, shuttle drivers & dispatchers, pool staff, and buffet staff. Check-in was quick and included welcome drinks and a fresh towel, and I was personally escorted to my room. Room requests were attended to within about 15 mins or less, front desk requests in snap. Special thanks to Christine V. from Front Office, and to Pea, Kai, Warren, Jerryson, and Christian for preparing and serving meals during my stay, Sheena, Joselito of buffet service and especially Cheky - very engaging, you are in good hands w/her Amenities – The gym may use some attention as a couple of machines were out of order throughout my stay. One elevator was also unavailable during my entire visit. The in house massage Lila is excellent (atmosphere and service, I was not able to get the name of staff-she is amazing). The Wi-Fi was excellent—probably the fastest I’ve experienced in a local hotel but the network is not secured. The pool area has a nice layout and relaxing, the addition of the kalachuchi (?) trees around it and varying pool depths are also a nice touch. Value – Worth it. The overall experience justifies the price, I would stay here again.

“Great Amenities and Breakfast, But Location Has Its Challenges”

We enjoyed our stay at Savoy Boracay overall. The room had a modern design, and we loved the color palette and fresh, contemporary feel. However, we booked the most affordable room category, and it was quite small with very limited walking space, which may be something to consider for longer stays.… more

We enjoyed our stay at Savoy Boracay overall. The room had a modern design, and we loved the color palette and fresh, contemporary feel. However, we booked the most affordable room category, and it was quite small with very limited walking space, which may be something to consider for longer stays. One of the highlights was the lovely golf course view from the balcony. It provided a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, especially in the mornings. The swimming pools were also spacious, well-maintained, and perfect for unwinding. Breakfast exceeded our expectations. There was a wide variety of choices, and the dining area was comfortable, making each morning enjoyable. The main downside was the location. While the hotel offers a quieter side of Boracay, it requires a fairly long walk to the beach, and getting to and from D’Mall can be inconvenient at times. If you plan to spend most of your time around Station 2, this is something to keep in mind. That said, if you’re looking for modern accommodations, excellent breakfast, and relaxing facilities away from the crowds, Savoy Boracay is a solid option.
