“Excellent! Best shower and breakfast ever!”

We visited Poznan with my parents in law for a family christening nearby. We completed check in online in advance of arrival, so when we arrived to the hotel at about 1am, after delayed flight from Dublin, the process at the desk was super quick. The girl was very welcoming and helpful also. We were in room 407, which was clean and spacious enough for our 4 night stay. Shower was one of the best I've used in hotels to date. Bathroom was also spotless and had hairdryer, box of toiletries (nail file, shower cap, cotton pads, cotton buds, shoe sponge, etc), towels, etc. While bathroom walls were frosted glass, there was a thick curtain you could pull across bathroom wall / hallway to seperate the bed area, if required. Sufficient wardrobe space for two people. Vanity table (although a large mirror here with better lighting would be useful. Cans of still/sparkling water provided daily, as well as a mini fridge. Digital panel in room for selecting areas of room to turn lights on. Bed was comfortable with choice of two different pillows. Duvet (duck feather I think?) was a little noisy the first night any time we moved, but we were so tired the nights that followed, that it didnt bother us. Breakfast was honestly the best I've ever had in a hotel! There was a choice of four hot breakfast courses to order from the front of house staff member upon entrance (I had the poached egg and avocado toast each of the four mornings and was faultless each time!), but also other hot breakfast buffet, various dishes like salmon pate, herring in mustard mayo (my fave!!), tuna paste, etc. Also cereals, granolas, fruit, meats, cheese, bread/rolls, salads, yoghurts. Good quality coffee machines and delicious juices (try the cucumber / pineapple / ginger smoothie, so good!). We did not have dinner in the hotel, but popped in for a few beers / cocktails on two of the evenings - the Blackwater cocktail is delicious. Breakfast staff / bar staff all very friendly and helpful and the general area is very comfortable. We joined the free 11am Saturday morning walking tour of the area - the tour guide was interesting to listen to and spoke clearly. It gave us a great introduction to Poznan and was a lovely bonus with our stay. A coffee / hot chocolate machine is provided in the lobby, as well as a great selection of teas, along with fresh water. There is plenty of comfortable couches / armchairs to relax in, as well as desk space if required. Location of the hotel was excellent - approximately 5 minute walk or less to Stary Rynek (main square) and other sites like Imperial Castle, Stary Browar (shopping centre) are all within wasy walking access. The tram passes the hotel also, although we did not use public transport during our stay. We did however book taxis on two occasions through the hotel reception, both of which times they were there at the required time. There is a small gym on the fourth floor, as well as a sauna, but we did not get to use these. I would highly recommend Puro Hotel if staying in Poznan and would go as far as saying that based on our experience in their Poznan hotel, they would probably be a good choice if staying in any of the other cities where they are based. I will definitely be considering them for future trips.

Had a wonderful 4 night stay at this excellent hotel. Friendly and helpful staff throughout, super clean beautiful room. Was sharing a superior double with my sister, which was perfect. Spacious and well thought out design. Coffee maker, complimentary daily water, robes and slippers, toiletries, hairdryer decent, lovely shower. Only thing missing was magnifying mirror. Comfy bed with choice of pillows. Well placed reading lights. Very quiet air con. Window opens. Superior room also comes with complimentary 2 pm check out which was ideal. Other family members had standard doubles single occupancy. Also okay for a couple, a little bit smaller. Breakfast was outstanding! Large range of hot and cold items, including made to order. Vegan choices. The quality in the restaurant was also excellent- we had dinner there twice, very very good. The public area was also great and we used it a lot to meet up but also spend time in playing cards etc. complimentary hot drinks available and a range of seating options. Also a lovely courtyard. Location brilliant, everything on doorstep. It was so good we are already planning our next getaway together staying in another Puro hotel !

“Lovely hotel in great location.”

We are on a trip through the north of Poland. We stayed two nights in the hotel which found in TripAdvisor. The room was not big (but we got what we booked), clean and everything was working. The Internet (Wireless) was a bit shaky. There are a few large parking slots under the hotel and we were lucky to get one. The staff was friendly and efficient. The whole hotel is very stylish and modern, quality everywhere. All in all a very pleasant stay in this hotel.
