I stayed at the Puro Stare Miasto with my wife for 3 nights and an additional night on my return from Warsaw . Let me say straight away this is a great hotel and I would definitely recommend it . Here are my reasons :- Location :-The hotel is right across from the main railway station and bus station . Within the station there are lots of shops . It’s a few minutes walk from the main square which has to be seen . Some lovely well preserved old buildings here and lots of cafes , bars and restaurants all around it . The castle is only a short walk from the square which is also worth seeing . Staff in the hotel : All the staff were very nice , helpful and professional . Front desk helped us booking train tickets up to Warsaw and also with a day trip train tickets ( a very long day trip ) to Zakopane . Room : Lovely , comfortable bed , quiet room , really good shower . Breakfast : Really good breakfast and staff very helpful Bar : Friendly knowledgeable staff . Great Polish beer . Lobby area : There is coffee / hot chocolate available from a machine any time of the day . The lobby is tastefully designed with a lot of seating areas . A good place to sit for a few minutes with a hot chocolate after walking around Krakow for a few hours and before you head up to your room . To sum up , if you are planning a trip to Krakow then this is the hotel to stay in

“Cannot fault this hotel”

We stayed for 4 nights in the classic Queen room. Firstly, you cannot beat the location. Right opposite the Glowny main train station and huge shopping centre and walking distance to old town and array of restaurants. Buses and trams also pass on this main street. We stayed for 4 nights in the classic Queen room. Firstly, you cannot beat the location. Right opposite the Glowny main train station and huge shopping centre and walking distance to old town and array of restaurants. Buses and trams also pass on this main street. So it was very easy to get around. Laundromat also on the same street which was very handy. Hotel itself is great. Staff were lovely, lobby has a free coffee machine for guests. The room was spacious enough for two. Very clean and happy with the facilities - kettle, tea/coffee, mini fridge, safe, toiletries, hair dryer. Iron and ironing board available on request. Bed was comfortable, could have had firmer pillows. I was impressed with the tablet through which you can control tv, lighting, temperature, etc. Tv had chromecast but didn't work for us. Overall, very happy with the stay.

“A little disappointing”

We stayed here having enjoyed the Puro in Gdansk. The hotel was opposite the train station which was perfect for us as we were travelling through Poland by train. Staff friendly and helpful. We stayed here having enjoyed the Puro in Gdansk. The hotel was opposite the train station which was perfect for us as we were travelling through Poland by train. Staff friendly and helpful. The restaurant area is quite small, very different to our stay in Gdansk Puro, and seems to be used very much by business gatherings. We had the corner queen room. Whilst the room was spacious the drawback was the window dressings. The main windows had auto blinds but the corner windows had manually operated blinds. these were a bit of a faff but the real downside is they let light through during the night! Improvement needed. Some elements of the hotel look a little in need of upgrading (e.g. the carpets)
