Wonderful hotel. Excellent location just a 5 min walk to the main street and easy walking distance to the national park. Staff very friendly and speak excellent English. Rooms fairly basic decor wise, but had all I needed including a kettle and a safe. Though I didn't use it, the bar area looked very cosy. The most important thing for me... the restaurant was amazing - the breakfast buffet was one of the nicest I've ever had (daily: 10+ types of meat, 3+ types of fish, 8+ types of cheese, eggs, fresh fruit, salad, hummus etc, pastries, cakes, breads, pankakes, honeycomb, yoghurt, cereals, hot items, coffee, tea and juice selections). If it wasn't for all the hiking I did, I'd be leaving 5 kilos heavier!! I also had dinner one evening and it was exceptional (and the largest portion of carpaccio I've ever seen). As a sole female traveller who cannot speak Polish I felt comfortable at this hotel, had no problems at all and would happily return.

Great breakfast. High-class interiors, more than you would expect from a ***. The restaurant serves a splendid steak and has an impressive wine list. The included Spa is elegant and well-working. Friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and the beds are of good standard

This is a 3 star hotel that links to a 5 star Upon arrival the reception area is extremely grand and welcoming. Check in was swift, the staff spoke very good English. We were shown to our room which was in the 3 star location……huge difference to the entrance that we had received. However the room was clean with toiletries and tea and coffee faculties. These were replenished daily. Our balcony looked over another hotel that is being built but we were never disturbed by noise from there. Noise came from the corridor outside the room during the evening with folk returning from their daily activities, that could get quite annoying. Hairdryers are not provided in the rooms. They can be obtained from main reception and kept throughout the stay. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were the most awful I’ve ever experienced. They were like badly stuffed teddy bears. So lumpy and not supportive at all. The temperature outside most days was 0 degrees or lower. Our room was always warm…some nights too warm. Breakfast is self serve but pretty amazing. There’s a variety of choices and always plentiful. I did ask for a breakfast bag for my husband as he was leaving before the 7am breakfast start to climb the Tatra mountains. I was guaranteed he could pick one up at 6:30am. He arrived at 6:30am to be told they do not serve until 7am. But pointless arranging to be told when collecting ‘no’ The hotel is in an idea location for the town, aqua park, Tatra National Park and Tatra Mountain range. There’s plenty to do and little cost. In the 4 days hubby climbed I managed to venture out alone and find lots to see and do without the need of public transport Must do’s: Tatra National Park Gublowka Mountain Thermal Springs Kaplica pw. Najświętszego Serca Pana Jezusa w Jaszczurówce, a beautiful wooden chapel which is around a 30min walk from the hotel.
