“Well situated ..”

Nice hotel ,,well situated..clean,,only issue is there are no lifts .hard work climbing all those stairs .hotel is well placed at the end of Main Street ,,breakfast included, Nice variety of food ,, The safe was a joke in the room ,as the safe was fixed to a shelf but the shelf was removable ,,pointless really. As much use as a chocolate fireguard ., Apart from that ,,good hotel ,,clean & a great location ..

“Cozy Place! ”

Great location and we walked to cable car, old town, restaurants, grocery store and laundry. Updated, yet still cozy. Wooden accents throughout. Lovely views of hills and mountains. Hostess was very helpful and breakfast was served in the dining room 7-10am. We will come back here next time we … more

Great location and we walked to cable car, old town, restaurants, grocery store and laundry. Updated, yet still cozy. Wooden accents throughout. Lovely views of hills and mountains. Hostess was very helpful and breakfast was served in the dining room 7-10am. We will come back here next time we visit Zakopane.

“Fine hotel with a caveat”

Good- The hotel is in a great location, near the road with a transit stop and taxi stop. It's at the quieter end of the main pedestrian street, other than the church across the street, which is quiet at night and easily blocked with earplugs in the morning. Good- The hotel is in a great location, near the road with a transit stop and taxi stop. It's at the quieter end of the main pedestrian street, other than the church across the street, which is quiet at night and easily blocked with earplugs in the morning. Rooms are comfortable, breakfast is good and staff is helpful. Safe is provided. Bad- The safe is necessary. I didn't bother and locked the passport and some cash (dollars) in my suitcase. My mistake but one I've never had a problem with. Either I didn't secure the lock properly or it's a bad lock because whoever came in the room (I assume it was the person who took out the trash) opened the suitcase and took the dollars out. They fortunately left the other important items and the backup credit card is replaceable. I know it happened here because I saw the lock was messed with, and I keep my atm card in the same pouch and used it in the last place I stayed. The cash was there then. The card has since been replaced in case the number was taken, and it wasn't a lot of cash, but it's disappointing. Other- The reception is open 7:30am to 6pm, so if you need to check out early, do so the night before. There is no individual temp control for the rooms, but if it gets warm, as it did on the third floor, the windows are operable. If you have mobility problems, it's stairs only to the first floor. I wouldn't not stay here again for the good reasons, but they provide a safe and it should be used.

“Good rooms stairs could be a challenge”

Generally good sized rooms but be warned that there are plenty of steps to get to them. This can be a trial if you are travelling with kids and/or large suitcases. A very good buffet breakfast is offered and the Villa Is extremely well positioned to access most of the local points of interest.
