The Hotel is in a good location, there is a tram stop right outside and is also walkable to the market square. The room was spacious and clean, and the front desk staff were helpful. The only negative, and it is a larger negative is that the air con units in the room are very weak. I was there during the heatwave and the aircon can't keep up. Its a very dated old unit in the rooms, and i think the hotel just needs to refurbish them. Perhaps its not as noticeable during a normal summer, but with summers getting warmer and warmer I think they need to fix this ASAP.

We recently stayed at the Scandi in Warclow for a short city break. The property was in an excellent location, a short walk from bus stops connecting the city to the airport (we used the 106 and got off at the Renoma shopping centre stop) and a ten minute walk to the main market square. Public transport is regular and cheap. Get onboard, tap the screens to clear the adverts and there’s an option to select between Polish, German or English. The 106 runs every 15 minutes until 11pm and then there is a night bus (206). We found check-in easy and the room clean and quiet (we had asked for a room facing the car park). Although the room isn’t cleaned daily as standard you can ask for your room to be serviced if you want it. We asked for additional pillows, towels, coffee etc during our stay which we received quickly and without any issues. The air conditioning coped admirably with the heat wave at the time and the fridge was a very useful bonus. Checkout was 12 o’clock and there is a secure room to leave luggage if needed. We didn’t use bar/breakfast area so can’t comment. It looks to be closed in the evenings on Sunday/Monday. About Wroclaw- There’s plenty of eateries both in the city centre and down towards the railway station (under 10min from the hotel) which will fit anyone’s budgets and food preferences. We ate at Pizza Si one night, which got excellent reviews and our wood fired pizzas were fab. Masala, an Indian off Market square, also gets a thumbs up from us. Jolie and Gran Gusto were our go-tos for breakfast and we’d go back to both when we visit the city again. Ice cream and pastries appear to be a local specialty and are definitely worth a try. We intentionally planned a chilled trip, and the heatwave mandated a more sensible itinerary. We enjoyed tracking down some of the 1000 gnome statues, including gnome based fountain outside the puppet theatre. Speaking of fountains the Century/Centennial Hall is well worth a visit. It’s free to walk around the gorgeous grounds and the nearby park (Park Szczytnicky) and the fountain has a water display set to music on the hour (6-9pm there’s also additional light display). There are Japanese gardens at Centennial hall and Botanical gardens in city centre that are 30 zl to enter. We felt there was enough to see at Centennial that we didn’t feel the need, but your mileage may vary. We walked up to Centennial Hall (50-60 min walk from the hotel along the river) but it’s well serviced by public transport if you’re feeling less energetic. The number 2 (outside renoma shopping complex) and number 4 tram (outside the hotel), go to and from the hotel to Cetennial Hall. Anything labelled as going to the zoo should get you there! Museums are apparently free to access on Thursdays, but since our trip ran Sunday-Wednesday we didn’t get to check this out. Overall we had a fab trip and we’d recommend the city. We’re already looking for our next trip to Poland.

10 to 15 minute walks to central square. Kiosk opposite. Bar/restaurant closed sunday monday. Rooms small but adequate and comfortable. The hotel policy is to do nothing with your room unless you ask. This is fine for me for making of beds, sheets and towels, but not emptying of bins, checking basics (tissue), replacing tea/coffee is not acceptable. The staff were friendly and accomodating throughout. The bar/restaurant service is patchy and the menu limited but satisfactory, food ok.

I stayed here for four nights with my dad to participate in the Tarczyński Night Half Marathon. Katarzyna in reservations looked after our pre-arrival requests perfectly, ensuring our room was split into a twin setup. The location is excellent—highly central, close to the main train station, and with a tram stop right outside. The room itself was quiet, clean, and had great air conditioning. Breakfast was delicious with a rotating daily selection. A huge shoutout to Patrick in the restaurant and the chef; they went completely out of their way to accommodate my strict pre-race meal request of plain linguine and plain cod, which meant a lot. It offered great value for our stay on the staff rate. However, a few negatives dragged the experience down. When we arrived after midnight, a member of the night staff was smoking right outside the entrance in casual clothes, which didn't set the best professional tone. There was also a dirty glass left in our room and some physical damage on the bathroom door frame. The biggest frustration was Sunday morning. After getting back from my race at 3 AM, we were woken up at 9:30 AM by what sounded like window cleaners working directly outside. When I flagged the noise at the front desk, the agent dismissed it completely and claimed it was probably a bird, offering no actual follow-up. Despite this, the outstanding food service from Patrick and the ideal location still make this a solid option for a running trip to Wrocław.
