The last of 5 hotels we stayed in during Ng our Poland trip. The most different from the rest. The hotel is above a restaurant so there isn’t really a typical hotel lobby at the first floor. I expected it to be not like a typical international chain type room, and indeed it isn’t. But the room is big and clean, with a view of the main street. It was New Year’s Eve and we got to see the fireworks right outside our window which was fantastic. The location is fantastic to all the interesting places. The breakfast is ala carte , so you order a set off the menu, and they are very good. Only 2 issues I encounter . There isn’t any luggage rack in the room. Strange that they don’t provide at least one . But this is not a big issue. The main issue I had was with the cigarette smoke smell. For the 3 nights we stayed, except for New Year’s Eve, each of the next 2 days at about 9pm onwards , the cigarette smell goes on for more than an hour. There must be a chimney smoking in another room. Extremely disturbing to us. Otherwise, everything else is great.

I stayed here recently on a trip with my mum. As a budget hotel we can’t really moan. The room was spacious, beds were comfortable and the hotel seems really clean! I stayed here recently on a trip with my mum. As a budget hotel we can’t really moan. The room was spacious, beds were comfortable and the hotel seems really clean! As other reviews mention it is quite noisy due to location. The first nights noise of music/ people didn’t really keep us up that much. However the second night the street was closed for filming so we struggled getting back to the hotel, nobody warned us about this which is a shame we felt like we couldn’t go out and explore then. We also struggled getting out to go the airport😅. This also meant we barely slept the second night due to cars zooming up and down the street!

“Central 3 star hotel”

Very central to all shops and restaurants. Room nice and spacious unfortunately the bed and pillows where very hard and uncomfortable. Reception staff were friendly enough however the female staff on arrival in the bar was very rude to my husband, so we choose not to eat or drink there for the rem… more

Very central to all shops and restaurants. Room nice and spacious unfortunately the bed and pillows where very hard and uncomfortable. Reception staff were friendly enough however the female staff on arrival in the bar was very rude to my husband, so we choose not to eat or drink there for the remaining of our holiday. Breakfast was also disappointing. When we arrived home, we recieved an email stating we were dishonest and had not paid for chocolates from the mini bar. We didn't have anything from the mini bar. So someone in the hotel is being dishonest. The hotel is more a 3 star hotel rather than 4.

We stayed for 3 nights in a deluxe room at the Holland House Residence Old Town. Our room was huge and so was the bathroom. The desk staff were all very pleasant. The location, right in the heart of Old Town was perfect, and the street noise was not bothersome. We did ask for daily room service which turned out to be just fresh towels. Our floor remained dusty for 3 days.
