There are restaurants located 30 m from the hotel, a link to the public transport network 50 m away and the beach at Porto is 45 km from the hotel.Exit in Oporto, and follow the A4 motorway in the direction of Vila Real. Exit in Entre-os-Rios/Penafiel Sul, turning left continuing until finding the hospital. Then take a right and then, immediately, the first left, following the sign to Entre-os-Rios, passing the Termas de S.Vicente. When in Entre-os-Rios, cross the bridge on the Tâmega (Duarte Pacheco) and turn left. Continue until finding the sign to Alpendurada. Cross the centre of Alpendurada, and continue to Montepio Geral. Then turn left and continue on until reaching a roundabout. Follow the sign for the hotel. It will be found to the right of the church.

“Incredible setting for a wonderful dinner”
Thanks to AMA Waterways, we had the pleasure of dining in this wonderful environment one evening. Not to be missed. A highlight of our week's excursion in the area. Incredible views from the terraces and wonders to see inside the monastery.

“A nice dinner in a historic place”
This hotel / restaurant is very nice and well maintained. You can stay it the rooms that used to be the monks. The food was good and the drinks OK. The views from outside down the valley are spectacular. Enjoyed the evening
