“Old No Frills Hotel with Great Location”
I stayed there for 3 nights. It was one of the easiest hotels to find that I encountered as it is right next to the Coumbra trainstation. The hotel is very out of date. “Restful”
We needed a place to stay while waiting for the train. The room was charming and comfortable. We liked the vintage decor. Everything was in good condition. Lovely bathroom with bath tub. High ceilings.

“Grand Old Hotel”
This was beautiful hotel and staff was friendly. Breakfast was typical but good. Our room had a nice balcony overlooking the train station. “Needs some renovations”
The cost benefit is fair, but there are a few problems. First the carpeted floors on the rooms. For someone who was struggling with a runny nose and allergies this made for a very uncomfortable night. The breakfast is okay. The best part of this hotel is the location right next to the train station.

“Quite dated; almost vintage”
Entering and staying in the hotel makes you go back a few decades. It keeps the characteristics of the Portuguese hotels from the 40’s/50’s.
