“12th century elegance”
the architecture is stunning. 12th century integrated with modern touches in beautiful balance. Gardens blend off into deep forest. Soothing waterfall with grotto. Breakfast was sumptuous buffet. Cannot recommend highly enough!

“Unforgettable!”
An unforgettable stay, to celebrate the Birthday. A beautiful Hotel / Monastery, very well maintained and cared for. A restaurant with great service, with a regional touch and very "chic". The entire team was extremely friendly and professional. Without a doubt, a visit and experience to repeat.

“Beautiful historic Pousada near the town of Guimaraes”
We love the experience of a stay in this beautiful historic Pousada. It feels like sleeping in a museum. The rooms are overlooking the valley with the town of Guimaraes. The staff is friendly and helpfull and make you feel welcome. Breakfast is perfect. And even so are the bar and the restaurant.... more

“History and comfort”
We enjoyed our stay in this lovely hotel. The linens were great, staff very helpful and polite, breakfast was wonderful, the grounds and formal gardens lovely! I recommend this hotel. It is set above the city but a short walk to the center. Enjoy!
