The guesthouse is located in a quiet part of Lisbon, in one of the side streets, but perfectly connected to the center. Intendente Metro Station is a short walk away, while Rossio Square is a 10-minute walk away. On the ground floor on the side there is a snack bar where you can have breakfast, drink coffee, across the street is a restaurant, on the side street is a mini market. At 300m there is the Lidl, several restaurants and lot of markets. From the outside, the building is in poor condition, but don't be discouraged. The rooms are great! As a group of 7 people traveled, we had three rooms at our disposal, two double and one quadruple and all were, indeed, excellent. The beds are large and comfortable enough. High-level cleanliness - staff cleaned the room every day, cleaned the bathroom, changed towels. Something you don't expect in a boarding house though. Guest house have free wi-fi, every room have TV and airconditioner. At our disposal was a shared kitchen - fridge, microwave, kettle. The staff were very friendly. We are extremely pleased with the accommodation and service at this property and any recommendation for those who have the main accommodation requirements - cleanliness, comfort, close proximity to the center and friendly staff.

We stay there every time we visit Lisbon (which is a lot!), on average 2 weeks at a time. Short walk from Intendente underground stop (linha verde) and from Largo de Intendente which recently became a great place to hang out. Walking distance (15-20 mins) from Rossio square (or 2 metro stops). Friendly staff, open 24/7, feels secure and will service a room even in the afternoon (if you want to sleep in), heating for winter stays and air con for summer stays is a bonus, rooms quite small but clean, well maintained and prices very affordable. Overall great value for money, especially for extended stays. Since we stayed there 3 years ago (after a few hit and miss hotel stays in Lisbon), we’ve been staying there every time we are in Lisbon for shorter weekend trips in the Summer and 2 weeks + stays over Christmas & New Year

“Cheaper Accommodations, Good Service, Personal Touch”

This is a cheaper accommodation, but we were pleasantly surprised by the helpfulness of the staff. We ordered a taxi for 4.45 am for an early flight and I was wondering if it would show up. Not only was the taxi early, the staff knocked on our door at 4.30 am to let us know that the taxi was waiting! That's what I call service. The staff seems to speak only Portuguese but I had a great time communicating via Google translator :) Also the staff came in and cleaned our bathroom and made the bed for us – unexpectedly! It was cramped, but that was to be expected, considering the price.
