The hotel exceeded all our expectations. For a 2-star hotel it was surprisingly good - spacious room, good bathroom, enough storage space, good breakfast, and everything was clean. The hotel exceeded all our expectations. For a 2-star hotel it was surprisingly good - spacious room, good bathroom, enough storage space, good breakfast, and everything was clean. Also great location - next to the station and close to the center. Very friendly and helpful staff. Don`t have anything negative to mention, and will happily stay here again if I visit Lisbon.

“Excellent”

Excellently located next to the metro. Very comfortable beds, nice bathroom with a good shower, clean, very good breakfast, nice staff. I can highly recommend it

The hotel is located a mile or two away from the city centre and most attractions, however, there is a metro station right outside and an easy walk to several restaurants. The hotel is located a mile or two away from the city centre and most attractions, however, there is a metro station right outside and an easy walk to several restaurants. The rooms are functional and clean but quite small. The staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast quality is fine with reasonable choice. There are two big negatives though. The Breakfast room is small, as is the self service area, a counter about 4 metres long, so we sometimes had to wait for tables to be vacated and cleared and collecting your breakfast items is chaotic, with people trying to avoid each other and unable to reach or waiting for items or the coffee machine. The building next door is having major refurbishment and our room was adjacent meaning you hear hammering and drilling from 8.00 am. You can also clearly hear the metro trains Be aware that €4 person per night city tax is added to the bill.

The exterior of the hotel is having a face-lift so there is scaffolding and construction materials at the entrance at the minute. However, we didn't see any builders so there was no noise. Our room was on the 5th floor and the shutters kept out most of the traffic noise. However, you could still feel the vibration of the Metro underneath the hotel. Our room was basic, with no fridge, a safe which did not work, the mirror in the bedroom was cracked, and a sewage smell escaped from the bathroom most of the time. There was a hairdryer and toiletries supplied and a large shower. The room was clean and adequate. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast room was small and hectic. There is also an outside area to sit but the area where the food is served is too small. People were tripping over each other at breakfast as guests had to bend down to reach crockery/cutlery/food. There just wasn't enough space. Breakfast was continental in style, with various breads, pastries, fruit and cereal. There were a few cooked items too. It was adequate. It just was not a relaxing experience in the mornings. There are quite many homeless people around this area asking for money. We usually ate in an Italian restaurant 2 doors down, it was convenient and reasonably priced and the pizza was good and we felt safe not venturing too far at night.
