This is an Aparthotel that is simply sensational. You have everything you need in the room, though we didn't use any of the appliances or cutlery as we were only staying for one night. The look, furniture, design and cleanliness of the room was amazing. It made want my flat to be just like it. I would and likely will return to Porto, and will definitely be staying here again. It is very conveniently located in the city centre where there is much to do and can easily get there within a 5-10 min walk from the hotel. The staff were incredibly nice and very helpful when we needed them, especially when allowing us to store our luggage there on a day when we weren't even staying with them. Very nice!

This is a lovely boutique hotel in old town Porto. You will need to notify them in advance of your arrival time (they will request this information) as reception is not always manned in the front entrance. The employees work in the building on another floor. They do have a phone number posted on the door should you arrive and the doors are locked. The rooms are lovely. I do have to say they were more than accommodating when we had an issue with the AC in our room. I asked to be moved and they did so as soon as another room became available. Our room was on the first floor. It was quite large and immaculately clean. Pillows were excellent. This hotel is located on a hill - but there are not many places in Porto that are not on a hill! The service and the employees were top notch here. Would definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in Porto!

“Great sized apartment, in a really good location, but noise from creaky floor above”

Great sized apartment: good sized kitchen area, and seating area, and small balcony - but really only for standing and admiring the view. Great sized apartment: good sized kitchen area, and seating area, and small balcony - but really only for standing and admiring the view. Aircon worked perfectly, which was essential as it was about 35 degrees! In a really good location: we arrived by Metro from the airport and it was an easy walk from Bolhao. It was also close to Sao Bento but there is a lot of construction work going on there right now, so actually it was easier to access from Bolhao Metro (with cases). We used Uber for the return trip to the airport which was easy and worked smoothly. **Email them in advance to advise your arrival time, as reception isn't always manned - this needs to be made more clear** However, the finish in the apartment is not great: wall hairdryer didn't work (a separate one provided), bathroom floor grouting missing, kitchen water tap possibly plumbed wrong way round but impossible to get cold water from it (hot water in kitchen and shower was fine). The most serious issue is the creaky floors - ours was creaky, and luckily we stayed Mon- Fri but when a guest arrived on Friday in the room above us it was terrible - woken up by them at 3am when they came back from a night out.... Really glad we didn't have to put up with that all week.... this would put me off booking here / recommending this apartment, which is a shame, as everything else was good. They really need to try to do something to improve this. No breakfast currently offered as standard (I was aware of this when booking, and there is a supermarket round the corner, or just go out for coffee and a pastel de nata!) but see that some of the older photos show the "breakfast room"...not sure if you can request this as an extra, but as the apartment has a fridge, hob, kettle and coffee maker, there really isn't any need....

“Perfect hotel if you don't value sleep.”

Stayed for 4 nights. Perfect location for exploring Porto. Room was clean and spacious, staff were friendly, had everything we could need. However, the floor boards were unforgivable. So noisy. We could hear the upstair apartment anytime they moved. We only managed a few hours of sleep each night. … more

Stayed for 4 nights. Perfect location for exploring Porto. Room was clean and spacious, staff were friendly, had everything we could need. However, the floor boards were unforgivable. So noisy. We could hear the upstair apartment anytime they moved. We only managed a few hours of sleep each night. The noise from the street was also an inconvenience, some bars just outside the hotel. It's a shame because the rooms were ideal but I wouldn't stay again and I wouldn't recommend to anyone else unless they don't plan on sleeping on their trip.
