Very nice and cozy! 4 * really! Double room (Tulip) very clean and beautifully arranged, very comfortable bed, modern bathroom, chic place with round table and chairs, very well equipped kitchenette with more than strictly necessary (everything clean and as new and of good quality - espresso Julius Meinl, Philips electric water cup, wine glasses, water glasses, mugs, plates, cutlery, corkscrew, espresso capsules, tea bags, ness, brown sugar). The built-in refrigerator is good and much more spacious than the usual hotels. Heat and hot water always available and adjustable. Good Wi-Fi! The location is close to all the centers of interest, 2 minutes walking distance from Podul Minciunilor and Piata Mica from Sibiu, a few minutes from Gara from Sibiu, but also from Piata Cibin. No stress from the hosts.

I was shocked at how horribly-reviewed most Sibiu hotels were, so I opted for this family-run bed and breakfast. The best elements of staying here are the access to Sibiu old town and having more space than a standard hotel room and all for only around 80USD/night. Location - Just up the road is the iron bridge and the expansive old town. Close enough to go back and forth as much as I liked, but right outside the inn? Peace and quiet. Room (Magnolia) - Modern, but bright and cheery which was a nice contrast to cookie-cutter hotel rooms I stay in otherwise. Magnolia is on the 1st floor and faces the street so while the view is great, not much privacy. I liked that there was more space in this than a hotel room so I have a small table and chairs and sofa and even a kitchenette with espresso machine, sink, cutlery, glassware, etc. and those make it feel a little more like a living space. I had no issues with the Wi-Fi connection throughout my stay. *Really no complaints but I am not a fan of the small, bulky comforters and open shower style, but I also figure most of visitors are European and prefer these. The owners are very nice and were there in the morning (otherwise you enter the building with a key). I appreciated that they served a breakfast which was beyond what I expect in a bed and breakfast like this. Local products like jams and cheeses and fruits are available, and they will even prepare eggs, so I was more than happy. A couple of suggestions: - I would have liked e-mail guidance about what to do upon arrival (as no one is there most of the day) and the timing of breakfast ahead of time, just to plan. - A closet or dresser in the room would be nice.

We were attracted by this place due to the friendly aspect of the rooms and the pozition relative to the city centre. The experience was great, the rooms are very comfortable, colourful and modern. We stayed at the ground floor and liked the fact that we could enter the interior garden directly from our room. Very nice and polite staff. Definitely recommending.

“Perfect little univers in the heart of Sibiu”

We ended up at Blumenhaus after the property where we had booked a room called us and asked us to cancel our reservation. We were somehow redirected to Blumenhaus and it was all for the better. We never stayed in such a lovely place in Romania. The concept, the people there, the professionalism and will to make customers happy makes them feel not customers, but family. Outstanding cleanliness, modern minimalist concept, limitless will to do better, even though we could not find any fault at all, characterize this place. It is a one-minute walk from the very heart of Sibiu. Everything is close to this place. The fact that you can park right outside the property is a huge advantage.
