“Great bay and volcano views from the side away from the street”
Old Soviet hotel with maintenance to match, although very clean. Located out of town but fine for bus tour group. A supermarket was around the corner and up the street a little. Had to buy some snacks there as the food was not appealing. Breakfast was just the worst we saw on our whole tou… more

“Depends on the room you get...”
The first room we had was nothing to write home about - clean, with a nice view, but a small bathrooms with signs of wear. The second one, however, had bathrobes, slippers, and a tea maker. Hotel Geyser is a comfortable standard hotel in a regional city in Russia. It is clean, serviced with informative staff and the beds are very welcome after a trekking trip involving camping on mountains or volcano slopes for over a week. The hotel and its rooms are ok! We had a room on the fourth floor, neat, nice bed, dated, old but clean and fully functional bathroom. There is a lady on each floor to keep an eye.
