Breakfast fare ok Reception staff excellent Did not visit the restaurant on the lower floor as there are many excellent restaurants in easy walking distance of the hotel Will definitely stay again

“Can’t Expect More”

Stayed here in Aug/Sep 2023 with a tour group, although I had my own room. The location is near the centre of town with lots of nice restaurants in walking distance, as well as a big grocery store. Stayed here in Aug/Sep 2023 with a tour group, although I had my own room. The location is near the centre of town with lots of nice restaurants in walking distance, as well as a big grocery store. The hotel is typical of what one should expect in a far corner of Russia…and very similar to lodgings in Central Asia (ex Soviet states). There were 2 types of rooms….the older ones are well worn out, and on the smaller side. The bathroom needs an immediate refurbishment. Things work but barely…I would rate these as a 2/5. On the flip side, the newer renovated rooms (Floor 2) are bigger and in better shape. Everything feels a bit more comfortable in these rooms….these deserve a 4/5 rating. The restaurant is okay…nothing to write home about. Breakfast is very standard and I would have loved some more hot options. WiFi needs to be set up by the Reception staff…which is a pain. Overall the staff are generally nice and helpful. Laundry was very pricey. Overall, I could stay here again in a refurbished room. I don’t think it gets much better in PK.

A small hotel, preserved from the Soviet times, practically unchanged. Those who settled in hotels 30 years ago will understand what this is about. I'll start with the pros. Stunning views from above the 3rd floor if you booked the Volcano View Room. Not a bad conference room for 50 people, but light isolation suffers if the presentation is with images, they are hard to see. Medium sized room with comfortable double bed, bedside tables, but outlets far from the bed. In general, there are few outlets. There is no outlet for the hair dryer on the mirror. There is a work area with a small refrigerator. There is also a kettle, there is a 0.5 bottle of water, there is no tea or coffee. Cons: Awful bathroom with peeling oil paint floor, steel-framed shower tray. Soap, shampoo bag, toothbrush. 3 towels. There are slippers and a safe in the closet. On the 4th floor there is an ironing room with two boards. Breakfast is poor - oatmeal, Sausage and cheese slicing, sausages, cucumbers, tomatoes, salads and delicious pastries. Measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19: the requirement to scan the QR code, maintain social distance, wear a mask, employees in masks. If the review was helpful to you, please like it!

we stay in the hotel two separate dates during our 12 days tour to Kamchatka. It provide a clean room hot water and decent bathroom, no luxus hotel. You came to this hotel usually as a base camp to start your trip or between inland trips. It is closed (walking distance) to a main supermarket and sport cloth center, and closed to restaurants. Nice staff with few English speaking. Breakfast is basic.

“OK rooms, easy bus to city centre and good restaurant”

You need to know : While it's 7km from Lenin buses 1, 21 and 22 get you straight to the city centre (Lenin) for 25 r. They run very frequently. You're probably staying here because this is where your tour company found you a bed - and that's OK ! You need to know : While it's 7km from Lenin buses 1, 21 and 22 get you straight to the city centre (Lenin) for 25 r. They run very frequently. The hotel restaurant has a great a la carte menu - if you are getting the cheap group supper menu think sbout spending more for something quite special (crab, scallops, salmon caviar, ..) but be careful with the wine. Room size varies quite a bit (we stayed three times) but all rooms have fridge and wifi and a bathroom heater / towel rail that will dry a limited amount of laundry overnight. There's a good supermarket less than 5 minutes walk away (though crab, salmon and caviar is much much better at the fish market) and the one and only good restaurant close by (San Marino, a three minute walk) should be booked in advance. Other than that ... Don't expect too much. Cleaners and restaurant staff can be friendly if inefficient, not so sure about reception staff (yes, they're inefficient too. Photocopying every page in the same passport three times for three stays?). If you want to print boarding passes (not necessary by the way) you can for free at the Business Centre.
