i booked amaris Hotel for 2 days .the room was very clean and good breakfast on my choice. the staff are very friendly ,nice menu ,and they gave me airport shuttle which i was not expected . wish to came again with my familly

I was in Kigali for business conference ,I booked amaris Hotel .the service was excellent ,very friendly staff .the manager was profession to my request. It's near convention center for the conference 5 min driving . Definitely I will recommend amaris .

“Lovely Hotel with Large Comfy Rooms”

Very clean, quiet hotel with large, comfortable rooms. My room had a comfortable double bed with two nightstands, an ample-sized desk for working on one's laptop, a table for a suitcase and a very large wardrobe to hang clothes. There was also a TV, which I didn't use. The bathroom is large, with a great shower that is large enough for two people to fit comfortably, and with very hot water. The shower had a window so you could look out over the city of Kigali while showering, but still have privacy. The floor of the room and bathroom was tiled. There was no air conditioning and no mosquito bed net, but I didn't need them because I was able to open the window, which had a very good screen to keep out bugs. There were no mosquitoes at all in my room. The room was nicely appointed. The staff are especially pleasant. The room comes with breakfast, which begins at 7 a.m. (I would have preferred breakfast earlier at 6:30 or 6:45 a.m., as I had to get to work.) The breakfast had choices of coffee, African tea or tea bags, as well as fruit. The first day the fruit was bananas and papayas, the second day, it was bananas and pineapple. There is also bread and sweet bread, as well as a toaster. The staff also made a Spanish omelette for my breakfast. Also, the hotel has a small but very very nice bar and restaurant on the top floor, with a fabulous view of the city. As a woman traveling alone, I was completely at ease in this hotel. The only negative about the Amaris Hotel is its out of the way location, which seems to be a residential neighborhood; it was not near anywhere I needed to be. (Perhaps that is why when I was there that I saw only one other guest.) However, the staff called a taxi for me each morning. If you have trouble with stairs, this is not a good place for you. I did not see an elevator or first floor rooms. My room was on the 3rd floor. I loved this hotel, except for its out of the way location. If you don't mind taking taxis, the location would not be a problem.
