Great hotel, lovely and quiet, rooms were fantastic, clean and well maintained as was the rest of the hotel and grounds. We liked the quietness of the hotel but also the ability to get the free shuttle to Frigate Bay at 11am and collection back at 4pm daily. All staff were friendly and helpful but a special mention goes out to Che’rise one of the waitresses and Kimberley from reception who went above and beyond for us. We had a fabulous 3 weeks holiday.

Koi is a jewel off the beaten path! Very nice and quiet - great for a couples getaway from the hustle and bustle of every day life! The breakfast buffet had plenty of options on it and they mixed it up a little bit each day. Keresaw greeted us each morning and was pleasant and quick to fulfill any requests. So ask for her and she will start the morning off right and give you any local information if you want to walk /run the golf course is right next door with paved paths that you can do that on. So if you are looking for quiet, place with good service - stay at the Koi and make sure you ask for Keresaw in dining!

There are some issues regarding this hotel but First of all: be aware that the location is far away from everything else.If you have a rental car its totally OK location. Be also beware that the the hotel faces the seaside so alot of sargasm and one cannot go for a swim in the sea. There was not alot of guests since it was a bit off season so the bigger restaurant was closed and you dont see alot of other guests in the hotel. Things that should be improved: There are two elevators and the whole week we were there one of them was out of order. The 2 one didnt work one night so had to walk up. Talked to the reception about it, but yes this is how it is...another night was also not working properly... I wanted the restaurant to call the room when our takeaway food was ready. The answer was that they know that some of the telephones in the rooms are not working, but not which one! Then you make a list and check every room within a week you know! When checking out the check was not correct as our room was charged with room service we didnt order. If this was related to the fact that we changed room during our stay I will not say but it took some time to get this sorted out. The breakfast in the weekend was a buffet and during the week a a la carte. The buffet was a dissapointment but the a la carte was OK. Our cleaner Liheylyn Hauey was super friendly but majority of staff is not. The pictures makes the hotel looks a bit more fresher than it actually is! We felt it was a bit dated but its actually not so old! It just lack som TLC from staff to buildings to food. Would we stay here again? Probably not.
