I recently celebrated my birthday at Coco Palm Hotel and had such a lovely experience! I stayed for one night with my sister, and it was exactly what I needed relaxing, enjoyable, and memorable. The location is idle if you enjoy night life, shopping and dining out. The rooms were very clean and organized. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. We spent the evening enjoying drinks, and everything was well-prepared and served with great attention to detail. Breakfast the next morning was definitely a highlight—10/10! The food was fresh, flavorful, and a perfect way to wrap up our stay. Overall, it was a beautiful birthday experience, and I would absolutely recommend Coco Palm Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable getaway in Saint Lucia. I’ll definitely be back!

Overall, this is a 3* hotel and experience, with some exceptions. In terms of positives, it is a cosy and mostly quiet hotel, not that big, and our room was spacious. The main street is close by (there is a shortcut, but it is through ongoing hotel-related building work!) and you can get to the beach within 10 minutes walking. Conversely, you can remain by the hotel pool, which has a reasonable amount of comfortable sun loungers.  A special mention is warranted about the quality of the food. The lunch and evening meals were mostly at a 5* standard, and we were so pleased with the food, we asked to speak with the chef, Nigel! He was delightful to chat with and impressed us with his mantra that he and his staff 'cook with love'  All but one of the staff were very friendly, with some more confident to engage than others certainly, but everyone was kind and pleasant. A special word about Sam: she was a very hard working restaurant supervisor. However, we encountered a young, surly staff member in the restaurant on 3 separate occasions! The last of which we challenged her and ended up speaking with Courtney, the lovely restaurant manager. We explained  and expressed our frustration and disappointment, and she got this sorted professionally and apologised In terms of negatives / disappointments:Curiously 'all inclusive' actually translates as 3 meals a day with 'set times'! So it was practically the main meal options for lunch and dinner; which was too much! Also, if you arrived between the 'meal set times', you could not get anything to eat, with advice that 'there were food outlets on the main street': so much for all inclusive then!! While lunch and evening meals were often delicious, the breakfast offering was limited and most of the apparent 'hot section' was consistently cold. Also, the daily lunch and dinner menu never changed, which was therefore rather repetitive (hotel was aware and new one starting imminently, which will be welcome for those, like us, who stay for more than a few days).Staff are very slow! This was true for food and drinks service. Therefore , you had quite a wait for and then between courses. Guests on 'all inclusive' should be able to mix and match between the lunch and evening menus; thus reducing the inevitable repetitiveness! While some staff accommodated this, it caused a problem for others, lading to awkward conversations!It was odd and time consuming for guests to wait after lunch / evening meal, to sign for their food / drinks; particularly those on 'all inclusive' anyway! Again, it was often a lengthy wait (even after asking) for the 'non- bill's to arrive!The temperature is hot, so it was disappointing not to have a daily / regular supply of water from housekeeping;On occasion, the hotel is very noisy: from its often over loud bar music; and external, surrounding noises (including regularly barking dogs!);The hotel needs to challenge the various selfish people securing sunbeds but not necessarily using them, etc! Our room had dated furniture and misaligned drawers, limited wardrobe space; with a problematic shower, in terms of setting temperature and getting the handheld to work!
