Staying at Citadines Abha made my trip to the city even more enjoyable. The hotel is modern, well-located, and perfectly blends international standards with the natural charm of Abha. The room was spacious, clean, and tastefully designed, with comfortable bedding and all the essentials for a relaxing stay. The views from the hotel were stunning, especially with the cool mountain climate — a perfect backdrop for a refreshing getaway. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout, always ready with a smile and quick to assist with any requests. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and I appreciated the professional yet warm hospitality. Breakfast was fresh and satisfying, with a good mix of local and international options. The facilities were well-maintained, and the atmosphere of the hotel felt calm and relaxing after long days exploring Abha’s mountains and cultural spots.

“Best you can do in Abha”

Probably the best hotel in Abha. Decent beds, very good restaurant, super friendly service. On a busy road but rooms in back are quiet. Paul's and Starbucks in mall next door.

This is a lovely hotel, and I may just have been unlucky, but the communication from the team was confused and inconsistent. Eating at a hotel is a major part of the experience, and the poor knowledge amongst the team let the hotel down badly. I asked at reception when checking in if they did room service. I asked because of Ramadan. He said yes, just ring 2036. I couldn’t find the menu in the room, so rang 2036. They said ring 2039. No one answered on 2039. I rang reception and he said ring 2036. I told him what happened and he sent a porter up with the QR code for the menu. I asked the porter if they were doing room service now, (it was before sunset), and he said yes, just ring 2036. I chose what I wanted and 45 minutes later rang 2036 to order. They told me to ring 2039. I rang 2039 and someone answered this time. Hurrah. But he told me they weren’t doing room service because it was Ramadan. I explained that others had said they were, he said they weren’t, all that was available was an iftar buffet in the restaurant. I rang the reception to complain and he said there was no room service because of Ramadan. I asked him why he told me there was room service when I checked in and why he sent someone up with a menu. He said it’s not available now but will be in a few hours. Bit of a swerve there. I asked him what time I would be able to order and he told me he would phone the restaurant to sort it out. 25 minutes later and nothing from reception so I walked down the road to Happy Cup and got a takeaway. (Which was quite good and a lot cheaper than the choices I had made at the hotel) And the another annoying thing, albeit quite a small issue, when I called reception, he answers the phone by simply saying ‘Yes?’ Not just once but every time. Something I find quite rude. Especially for a quality hotel like this one. Lovely hotel let down by staff. And no kettle or milk for tea in the room, just a coffee machine and coffee creamer. Although tea bags were provided!
