Really tricky review to write! We absolutely loved it here & will try to summarise! + Read about not enough sunbeds - this couldn’t be further from the truth! You have to pay for them though: €5 a day or €20 for two comfy beds and a fancy sun shade thing. I liked this - it meant no angst about getting a spot & no having to get there super early. Don’t want to pay - bring a lilo or picnic blanket. + price. We booked through eurocamp for a self catering premium chalet - on par with what we usually pay. + facilities - you won’t find a better water park with a camp site included: it’s phenomenal- people complaining about the queues - no different from any other water park I’ve been to in Europe or the UK. Lazy river, pools, wave machine - no waiting for them. + food - we ate at the pizza restaurant near the river -not the cheapest but not too pricey. Food in the park is a bit expensive - so we went out to our chalet for lunch. + location - beautiful - visited Croatia and Italy while here. + bugs - bring spray and a candle and you’re fine! If you’ve booked a river chalet - obvs there will be bugs! We didn’t! + Washing machine - 6 euros in coins or tokens. Didn’t wash brilliantly as only does a quick wash but good enough + on site shop - often closed - but Lidl 5 min drive down the road. Potential negatives which I’d want to know: - reception - understaffed and always busy - were they grumpy? Not overally - just not the chipper all inclusive type. Eurocamp staff phenomenal - you need €50 per group of four in cash for the bands to let you into the park. They have a cash point. - two parks but only one per day. This was irritating - we wanted to visit both in a day but you can’t. Outside x2 visits, inside x1. We planned it so on our visits off site we would do an evening indoors pool & whole days outdoors so we could go back for food in between. - rides: big ones in the indoor closed and big blue one in the outdoor. But you’ve got a massive selection. - eurocamp accommodation doesn’t have a plug socket suitable for the kettle - you have to move tables around etc

“Improvement needed”

We have returned after 10 years....and it seems like nothing has changed. I would even say food quality has decreased. The new spa centre is fine, but a lot of spots would need refreshing.
