My wife and I spent four nights at the Grand Koper as part of a European holiday. We were please to be given a room with a sea panorama view, one of the better rooms in the 'comfort room' category. The hotel is centrally located in a town where everything is within walking distance. The rooms were large and modern, and the bathrooms excellent. The buffet breakfast was good.

Near to seaside and marina,romantic narrow streets,small cozy shops,cafe. Hotel us very comfortable,clean,polite employees,restaurant with perfect menu and wine!!

The property is near to port and front of sea. The rooms are big with all the amenities. Staff is fully supportive. I recommend this hotel if you’re near to koper

Hotel Grand Koper má bezesporu výbornou polohu přímo u pobřežní promenády, odkud je vše v centru Koperu snadno dostupné pěšky. Hotel Grand Koper má bezesporu výbornou polohu přímo u pobřežní promenády, odkud je vše v centru Koperu snadno dostupné pěšky. Příjemným bonusem je také služba valet parking – po příjezdu vám personál auto převezme a kdykoliv během pobytu jej na požádání opět přiveze. Bohužel tím pro mě výčet výraznějších pozitiv končí. Samotný hotel není ničím výjimečný a vzhledem k cenové úrovni jsem očekávala podstatně vyšší standard. Největším zklamáním byly snídaně. Chyběly jakékoliv lokální produkty, nabídka jogurtů byla velmi omezená a celkově byl výběr spíše podprůměrný. Nepříjemné bylo také objednávání kávy – pokud jste si chtěli dát cappuccino, museli jste aktivně hledat obsluhu a mávat na personál, aby si vaší objednávky všiml. Celkově jsem měla pocit, že poměr cena/výkon neodpovídá tomu, co hotel nabízí. Za cenu, kterou si Grand Koper účtuje, bych očekávala výrazně lepší gastronomický zážitek i více prvků, které by pobyt udělaly skutečně výjimečným. Grand Koper undoubtedly benefits from an excellent location right on the waterfront promenade, with the city center and main attractions within easy walking distance. Another convenient feature is the valet parking service – the staff takes your car upon arrival and brings it back whenever you need it during your stay. Unfortunately, that is where the highlights end. The hotel itself is not particularly remarkable, and considering the price level, I expected a much higher standard. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. There were no local products on offer, the selection of yogurts was very limited, and the overall variety was underwhelming. Ordering coffee was also inconvenient – if you wanted a cappuccino, you often had to wave down a member of staff just to place your order. Overall, I felt that the price-to-quality ratio simply does not justify the cost. For the rates charged by Grand Koper, I would expect a significantly better dining experience and more features that would make the stay feel truly special.
