I had traveled to my mother's homeland and thought that "Rozka" certainly means the female name Rezika in the language of my ancestors. I had already been there, on the Krvavec mountain, so the landscape is not unknown for me. Since the general impression was superior, my confirmation is also my return. But getting to some accommodation requires a field vehicle. By the way, you enjoy a mountainous and well-maintained road, so the first pleasure begins right by the drive. Parking in the classical sense may not be there, but your car will not stay on the cliff - you have a secured place. This hotel suffered a blow of lightning, which is a higher force that is difficult to foresee and prevent. But, as all the evil brings and something good, the hotel is completely restored on stone foundations and ground floor, and the floors are now secured with more reliable material. The allocated room is more spacious, with 4 beds and extra bedding, which for the two of us was a royal apartment. What adds crown to the hotel is the terrace view and especially while enjoying the delicious snacks of our meal prepared by the valuable hands of the host. Because there is a whole family: grandparents, mothers and dads, and two sisteres who spellbound two young men so much that they passed their work values to our staying and vacation in this facility. We had Gogi at hand, a young man with a day less than his 26th birthday. If you know the legend about Kekec, he unusually reminded us of this Slovenian little boy. He's constantly on the move, cheerfully jumping from you to the kitchen, reception, bar... wherever you need his help. Personally, when I'm staying at a hotel, I pay attention to those little worthless people without whom nothing can work practically, so I can remind my cleaners that my room can be freely avoided, let's just use that time for a short break. And as much as Gogi handcuffed to me, he was already embarrassed, so much so that I always gave him a sign to sit where I would come in and he'd jumped out to be at my service. I was a guest, but I felt so homely and friendly that I would most likely help him in his work. I'm kidding, wherever I come, I’m talking about events, making people laugh, and to those with a day of duty and fatigue, it means a lot when someone gives them attention, when not rigid and official, not to be overwhelmed in their own gentlemanship. So all of us in these moments of our stay felt as if we knew from ancient times - as if we were at home with relatives or old friends. Even this was felt by a Norwegian couple and a French family, especially the leader of that company when he saw me for breakfast, besides a buffet, Gogi carried ham and eggs, so he wondered if he could even get that poached egg... The mountains and the surrounding forests, meadows, spread flowers on them, cows that feed... birds, butterflies, bees, ants... that is the atmosphere that we had been seeing from the morning to the dawn, and we were climbing to get back in the evening in the hotel knowing that a warm, ingenious meal awaits us. How many times have you seen video clips showing how happiness is contagious and begins with a smile? Well, that exectly starts in time and space that I'm moving. I wish you all good and at least a little joy that you shared with me, the look and feel that somewhere in the world you will find someone who will laugh you and you will be happy that there are still people who keep nature and prove that people deserve Paradise.

“Welcoming, cosy and perfect for the slopes!”

We've just returned from a wonderful skiing trip in Slovenia, and would highly recommend Rozka! The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, the food is delicious, rooms are warm and cosy, everything is extremely clean and it's in the perfect location - just 25 minutes from the airport. From the front of the hotel it is less than a minute to the many different ski lifts, cable car and hire shop. There is a beautiful view from the outside terrace over the valley and at the end of a day on the slopes they serve hearty food and good beer all at a reasonable price. At night the rooms are very quiet and if you want to relax the sauna is perfect. My only criticism would be that the breakfast was a little basic but other wise can't fault the place. Thank you for a great stay, hopefully we will return one day to experience the summer season!

“Good place and very kind stuff”

We stayed here one night. The dinner and breakfast was good. We have last free room which was extra large for 20 people. 😊 Everything was fine and people there was kind and nice. I recommend this place to family and couples or friends.
