“Nice Hotel with amazing view”

Hotel was nice and in a great location. We stayed in a suite with a lake view - the view was absolutely incredible. Room was very spacious. The pull out couch wasn’t amazing, but it worked. Breakfast was not amazing. It was decent, but they ran out of things quickly as the hotel was very busy. Pool was very nice! Clean, many options, and slide was fun.

With the heavy blanket supplied, it got a little warm even in early May. The shower glass door covers only half the width of the stall, with water splashing on the floor.

“Fairy tale view of Lake Bled”

Thank you front desk for making late hours taxi arrangements, smooth and safe, when our own agent refused to make changes to our pre-paid airport pick up service (double the taxi price), when we encountered a sudden flight changes by the airline. Check in was easy. Friendly and informative front desk gave us lots of neighbourhood travel information. We had a lake view room which was really nice to wake up to see the peaceful Lake Bled surrounded by the mountains, and sometimes the magical mist, like in the fairy tales. Breakfast with some varieties but in our entire 5 night stay, we didn’t see them replenish any food after our usual BF time after 9am (breakfast closes at 10am)… waiter service was mostly good though. About 3 min walk downhill using the short cut path passing by the Wellness Ziva, we arrived in the small shopping/dining area on the way to the lake). There was also a coin laundry. We were also lucky to be able to join the annual Bled Straza traditional bonfire up on the mountain top where the toboggan started (to start spring), about 20 min walk uphill the dark. It was quite an experience and a good party with live music. Thanks again for the front desk staff to tell us. We wouldn’t know otherwise. The only thing about the hotel is that there’s no gym (but can use the one in a neighbouring hotel but it was not as good)…..and also there was no moisturiser and no hair conditioner provided, and the daily maid service was actually a tidy up of the bed and replenish tea bags only. For the first 4 nights, they didn’t clean the basin top nor mop the bathroom floor. The last night it was cleaned (perhaps a different cleaning lady came). The pools/waterworld was also super (especially during weekdays). We also paid a bit extra to use the various exclusive saunas….especially liked the Finnish one with a big window facing Lake Bled. The outdoor jacuzzi also allowed a good experience while admiring the Lake at the same time. Naked jacuzzi and sauna and mixed sexes FYI It was mostly a very pleasant stay

We read many reviews on this hotel before going but came away feeling disappointed. No view of Lake Bled, breakfast buffet was below par for Europe. Weak cappuccino, fruit looked off color and stale and omelet station was not good since the two days we wanted one he said he wasn’t making them (staff seemed unhappy). Had a view of the parking lot and the soap in the room was one soap fits all purposes (hands, body, hair). Good location but if you’re looking for a little more elegance and better food quality keep away.
