“Quiet Location”
We had a lovely quiet stay at Altes Landhaus. Macris is a great host and all the staff are friendly and attentive. Breakfast on the veranda watching the birdlife is a real treat and when the fire is lit with the blinds down in the evening, a perfect place to enjoy delicious food. Great location for… more

“Wish we could have stayed longer”
What a wonderful place to stay. Marcris and his team are superb, friendly and wonderful hosts. The rooms are spacious and wonderfully furnished. The grounds beautiful and the lounge and restaurant areas relaxing. The food was delicious. Our only regret is that we only stayed for 1 night.

This is the place to be for a first class stay. Marcus, Ester and their team went the extra mile when it was required, due to a medical problem that I had. “Relaxing in paradise”
Beautiful country lodge, in fabulous gardens. Really peaceful spot with great staff. Food excellent. Great spot for exploring the little Karoo. Cango caves and ostrich farms nearby. Sitting on the stoop watching the sunrise and the mongoose will stay with me.

“A great stay in the Karoo”
We spent two great days there it was a very pleasant experience…. A beautiful home very quiet and relaxing. The staff is extremely helpful (Maria of course so nice !) and the diners were just perfect. A place to remember and recommend William and Thierry France
