Recently I stayed at the Bantry Bay Aparthotel and the customer service is second to none! First of all, I was traveling from America to Cape Town with a group and our travel agent stole our monies and cancelled our hotels days before our arrival. I called the hotel and spoke to one of the managers, Yvonne and she assured me that our rooms would be held. Of course, we had to pay again but once we arrived, the check-in process was smooth. Many of the front desk personnel, did everything in their power to assist us during our stay but I must mention Mr. Asi, who in my opinion should be considered for a management position if he is not one already. The professionalism and efficiency he displayed was impeccable!!! The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The location of the hotel is within walking distance of great restaurants, grocery stores and so much more. I highly recommend staying here if you are interested in a comfortable rest and experiencing great customer service.

“Nice apart/hotel with very good breakfast and very near the beautiful Atlantic coast”

Nice hotel (in a beautiful blue colour) near the Atlantic Ocean and at a relative short distance to the most important Capetown sights.Very friendly receptionists.We stayed at the apartment 213 (the adjecitive "luxury" might prove a bit outdated) with 1 bedroom and a sofabed in the living area/kitchen (the sofabed might be a bit too soft for "heavier" persons).Some light seeping through from the windows and door when sleeping on the sofabed (a sleeping mask easily solves that problem). Small kitchen with all the necessary appliances (might you want to cook yourself),coffee-tea facilities...With 3 wardrobes surely enough to store your clothes. Enough bathroom storage space for your personal care products.Bath and shower (only a shower head, no shower hose). View of the ocean over the roofs of nearby buildings(A room higher up will surely offer an even more beautiful view).The traffic noise might cause some nuisance in the morning (on that second floor).(Take your ear plugs if you're a light sleeper). Ideal location: a hop on/off stop at the corner and next to the President Hotel with an ATM and 2 restaurants.Also at a very short distance from the main street with quite some eateries.Safe to walk home in the dark (despite the presence of some homeless people-who are not pushy and very grateful to get your restaurant leftovers in a doggy bag). Breakfast: absolutely great: good choice of warm/ cold plates; fruit salad; cheese...,pastries and friendly staff doing their very best to serve everyone!

A 3rd visit - with a 4th holiday there already booked. As before, arrived to a warm welcome from a super team and with many familiar faces: - front desk to breakfast restaurant, housekeeping and bar. And as always we enjoyed the spacious and spotless room, the self catering facilities which we needed again, and lying at the sheltered sparkling (albeit very cold) pool. The location - a stones throw from the promenade and supermarkets, plus a host of restaurants, will always be a plus. But remember to try the hotel breakfast too - it remains excellent. We look forward to returning.
