“great one-nighter”
The rooms are light and airy; well appointed and the use of the whole house with pottery displayed made it very homely. Gail was so friendly and helpful and meeting John, the Potter, was a special experience!

“Great stay in Claremont”
Many thanks to Gail, Aunty Lady and all of the staff at the John Bauer Pottery Studio and Guesthouse for a wonderful stay. My room was comfortable, immaculate and the everybody went out of their way to provide a memorable experience!

“Excellent service”
The guests house is neat from bathrooms ,bedrooms and kitchen. We felt at home. We used their washing machine to wash out dirty clothes. I came back from holiday with clean clothes. Everything was perfect. Easy to get an Uber and its close to a train station

“Peaceful haven of art”
The host was friendly, welcoming and organised. Before i entered the premises, i was onboarded adequately. The facilities were well maintained. The kitchen and lounge space decked with art pieces were delightful. Thank you for sharing your work and the trinkets in the room.
