Someone local told me that the IsquarE hotel is the only one in Gimhae. At least, the only 'international/business' hotel. Surprising because this place is full of business. It is halfa an hour from the airport and a bit further from Busan. It is immediate next to the lightrail that connects to the Busan metro system in half an hour. Public transportation works very well and is really cheap. The hotel claims to have a fitness/sauna but that facility is located in an adjacent shopping mall/cinema. While I made enquiries about using the facility I was told it was going to be shut down that wednesday. For good or temporary, I could not tell. The gym was free, the sauna needed to be paid. The hotel has a few indoor restaurants that serve international food. Breakfast is mainly local foods, the coffee is awful. In the lobby there is a coffee corner that produces decent coffee but it only opens at nine I believe. Rooms are OK, AC in my room was quite noisy. Everything works. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

“Second visit”

Good hotel. Modern, nice big rooms. Now they have a good pub upstairs too (although it's a bit pricey). Right next to the mall where they have some good restaurants with English menus and also right next to the monorail which gets you easily to the airport My preferred hotel in the area!!

I was looking for a hotel in the PUS airport/Busan area for rest and relaxation. I did not need to be near the beach or nightlife. I was simply looking for a relaxing hotel with modern amenities. This hotel fit the bill. While all staff did not speak impeccable English, the front desk staff spoke English. The staff person that I encountered on the phone when I ordered room service, who may not have been fluent in English, quickly put someone on the line who could answer my questions about the menu. I must highlight the service of the gentleman who checked me on a Thursday evening. He was very helpful with every request I had. He could not have been any more hospitable. In addition, when I decided to stay in for the day with the Do Not Disturb sign on the door, the hotel staff, quietly left a bag of towels and amenities at the door for me. The did not call my room or knock on the door, which would have disturbed me since I was in my pajamas for the bulk of the day. While the location is obviously not at the beach in Busan and it is not at PUS airport, it is a good place for a low key comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable (not brick hard like many in Asia), the bathroom was a good size with plenty of hot water with a powerful shower and good-sized soaking tub, the sitting chair and ottoman were comfortable, etc. The hotel room includes a hot water kettle, mini-bar, slippers, etc. The only missing amenity in the room is the iron/ironing board combo. I did not ask the hotel staff for an iron, but I am confident that one would have been provided if I had requested... Other general info: The hotel is connected to a little mall area that includes the Olive Young drug store, food places and a Lotte Mart (hypermart). As of 8/2017, a taxi ride from PUS to the hotel was 30,000 KRW; a taxi ride to PUS from the hotel was 20,000 KRW.

Selected this hotel which is near to industrial areas and 30 mins by car to air port. Despite being 4 Star + but few observations: 1) air con controller in the room is in Korean therefore can’t figure how to operate the system. 2) call the operator told me breakfast is served in 2nd floor but should be 4th floor 3) hotel gym is at ISQUARE mall which you need to walk across the bridge on 2nd floor that is so inconvenience 4) the hotel is too huge but don’t give you a grand or exclusive feeling 5) I have requested a late check out at 2 pm as my flight was 4 pm but need to pay 22, 000 Korean won per hour after 1 pm. 6) not suitable for foreigner as Isquare mall have a limited selection of English speaking restaurants
