The rooms, however, were very pleasant and modern. Bed was really comfortable and bathroom/shower was great, very clean. All in all, a great stay and would recommend!

“Not perfect, and I'll tell you why.”

Well, it's not perfect, as it is isolated, far from anything else. It does have its own convenience store though, and a good one, so you can survive well. Well, it's not perfect, as it is isolated, far from anything else. It does have its own convenience store though, and a good one, so you can survive well. Restaurants are excellent and the quality of the rooms is superb. Good access to power outlets near the bed and by the working table. Service overall is great. Nice breakfast with a chef that that has the balls to get you a raw egg when you ask for one. I'll tell you what else makes it not perfect, and it has nothing to do with the location. First, the corridors are dreadfully dark, as are the lifts. Just an unfriendly touch. Second, housekeeping service keeps re-adjusting the air conditioning back to 25 deg, even when you are NOT checking out. Third, the shower mats are not hung on the shower door, but right by the sink, while the face towels are far away. That leads to accidents when guests wipe their faces with the floor mats. And most of all, the check in exercise to wait until 2 is absolutely silly. They make a big deal out of it, when they could be facilitating the procedure by checking in guests into rooms that have already been serviced. But I'd stay here again, no problem.

Perfect location if catching a flight the next day out of Incheon Airport (15-20min ride based on terminal). A shuttle to and from the airport is available (with reservation). Interior of hotel reminds you of a facility carved into a mountain. Bathroom is spacious, rooms have gorgeous floor-to-ceiling window. If you need to reorganize suitcases, space is limited/tight. Downside is locale. There are no restaurants, entertainment, or rail/metro near this hotel so the seclusion is welcomed for relaxation, but may cause weariness if variety is required. Bonvoy Members, the best amenity is the room upgrade with a nice view and they scan for you to earn points at the Kunst Lounge only food available if you come in after 8PM - aside from room service. Kunst Lounge has a good wine selection, changing specialized cocktails, and acceptable food. Cocktail prices were expected, food was pricey but expectantly so. Was unable to use the pool/sauna (for a price). Breakfast is available in the morning but the pricing is a tad high if your budgeting or have a larger family; I recommend grabbing something from the airport.

Pros: 1. close to ICN and almost guaranteed no traffic 10-15 min by car 2. Complimentary shuttle to terminals (I left 6:45 am and it was on time) . But it every 45 minutes so plan carefully or Uber 3. Clean, quiet, and have all the basics needed for an overnight stay near airport. Beautiful walk… more

But it every 45 minutes so plan carefully or Uber 3. Clean, quiet, and have all the basics needed for an overnight stay near airport. Beautiful walking paths outside. Cons: it is a Member of Design Hotel. do not expect Marriott elite services 1. No free room upgrade, breakfast or lounge 2. Front desk did not recognize elite status (Titanium) as Marriott chains usually do 3. Front desk speak limited English 4. Absolutely nothing nearby so only stay there after dinner. Hallway decor is extremely dark. Be careful if you don’t like the style.
