“Last day before heading to airport”

The room is super big, can even fit 1 more double bed. They also provide shuttle to Inchean airport. The part which I didn't like is that I see people smoking directly outside the hotel and the rooms look old. Thus, the cleanliness looks to like much to be improved

“A functional layover stay with a noticeable caveat”

We chose Hotel Zeumes for a single overnight stay during a long layover in Korea, primarily due to its close proximity to the airport and the convenient offer of a free round-trip shuttle service. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised by how roomy the hotel felt, especially for an Asian hotel. Our bathroom was notably well-designed, featuring two separate areas for the shower and toilet, which was a nice touch. The provided amenities included shampoo, bottled water, and room slippers, which covered our basic needs, and we didn't mind the absence of lotion or a toothbrush. The beds were comfortable, and the room itself was quiet, allowing for a restful sleep. The hotel's location also boasted numerous eateries in the surrounding area, which is definitely a plus. However, as we arrived very late and were quite tired, we couldn't fully enjoy the local scene that evening. The next morning, our early departure meant most restaurants and shops were still closed. We opted for breakfast at Starbucks rather than availing the hotel's buffet, which would have cost $15 per person. My main point of contention, and what ultimately lowered the score for our stay, was a faint but distinct odor in the room. It was difficult to pinpoint, but it was somewhat musty or slightly off-putting, perhaps reminiscent of old drains or stagnant water, rather than a typical clean scent. While not overwhelming, it was noticeable. For the price we paid ($55 for an overnight layover), Hotel Zeumes certainly served its purpose as a no-frills stay. It provided a clean, quiet room and essential amenities with the crucial airport shuttle. Would we stay here again for another overnight layover? I'm not entirely sure. If other hotels at a similar price point or slightly higher, also offering complimentary round-trip shuttle service, become available and promise a fresher environment, we might consider those alternatives. Ultimately, it was a perfectly functional stopover, but the persistent subtle smell was a definite drawback.
