We stayed here for five nights as part of a wider South Korea tour. This was in a great location close to shops, restaurant, metro, great park (turn right out hotel and at end of the road). Reception were really helpful and we used their knowledge several times to great affect. Our room overlooked the front and was well appointed, clean and well maintained as was the whole hotel. The room was a bit more compact than others on our trip but did what we wanted. The best toilet of the trip with remote control and lots of functions! Breakfast was heavily aimed at more Asian tastes i.e. curries, rice etc and this certainly is not a negative as we came to South Korea to enjoy the food. There was bread, egg, yoghurt, fruit if you did fancy something more western. All well presented and again staff helpful. Certainly would recommend this hotel.

It is a good place which not that noisy and nearby have a train station can easy access to another point. Have a grocery G25 convenient store which open till 1am can grab drinking water and supper when necessary.

“Two stats of two halves”

We stayed here twice at the beginning and end of our visit to Korea. It was a stay of 2 halves as far as room and staff concerned. On our first visit we were welcomed by friendly staff. They made an error but it was quickly corrected. The room was an ok size and clean with sufficient space for suitcases. As we were several floors up and, knowing that Korea is only country in world apart from UK, with fire regulations only requiring one stair case , we routinely check the fire instructions. The escape ladder to throw out of the room was missing despite clear instructions on how to use it! The location is excellent. There is a grocery just up the road and plenty of restaurants in easy walking distance. Close to metro and easy to get to main attractions. On our first stay a light would not switch off over the bed. That was dealt with promptly and efficiently. Breakfast is in the basement . Lovely lady in charge. Overall breakfast does not change and boring. Not great selection. On one day we had an early start so enquired about a breakfast box from reception. They informed us, despite fact posters in foyer clearly promote restaurant under their name, that it was nothing to do with them and no box could not be arranged despite fact breakfast was already paid for NB only serves breakfast. Useful laundry in basement and ATM in foyer. On our second visit we were in room on lowest floor. No view, very small and like a cell. Huge contrast and thank goodness did not spend our first 4 nights in it. Suggest Book rooms higher up. We left early for our flight and this is where staff really let hotel down. The receptionist could not have been ruder, more unhelpful or disrespectful. We had pre booked and prepaid for a taxi. It was dark and snowing and there were several taxis outside. We asked the receptionist whether our driver would come in and call for us or how we could identify our taxi. ( we did not want to find we had effectively got into a rank taxi In error and have to pay again). The receptionist could barely lift eyes from screen and basically said , as taxi not booked by hotel ( our tour company had arranged) he was not interested. I suggested there must be a routine for pick ups and could he confirm if a driver normally came in to call for guests. He just told us to go away and not bother him. Ok it might have got lost in translation but I think not. For this reason I don’t think I would recommend this hotel. FYI the driver did come in and call for us!
