We had two rooms for our family of four, which included two adult sons. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread was amazing. The location can't be beat. It is in the heart of Myeongdong but so serene once you get inside the hotel. We chose this over the FS (where we went for cocktails) and we are so happy we stayed here instead. So much within walking distance. The arrival by car can get a little tricky because it is underground, just be aware. The access to its sister hotel Moxy was nice for nighttime cocktails/snacks and laundry machines (we were continuing onto another destination from Seoul). A convenience store is attached to it- so easy. We ordered room service one night and it was really delicious and well-presented!

Stayed 7 nights in a deluxe city king room. No city view, just a view into buildings. Great location if you want to be in the thick of shopping, street food carts etc at night. Also close to the subway system. No upgrades available for Titanium. 2 hotel staff members promised if I return they will upgrade me! Very odd how can they guarantee that, when I could come back peak season, but they can't upgrade now.. Very strange! - Was advised at checkin that there's renovations taking place on level 3. This was not advised during booking time. They advised upon check-in that noise would only occur between 08:00 and 20:00 and because we are on a high floor we will not hear it. 06.15 am the next morning we were woken with loud hammering and also a child screaming in a nearby room. Then woken by construction again several other days and later into the night. - The bed is hard but we survived. - Housekeeping keep the rooms lovely and clean. - Rooms are noisy from rooms above and nearby. - Nice big shower with great pressure. - Nice little touch of a Ritter Sport chocolate on your bed each day after house cleaning have been. - Complimentary coffee and small snacks for all guests on L4 reception - nice touch. - No water bottles provided in your room, rather a water filter machine. - Reception is on level 4, they share lifts to this point with the moxy hotel. - There is a laundry on level 5 of the moxy that LeMeridien guests are allowed to use. Just ask Le Meridien reception on L4 and they will give you a key card to L5 at the moxy. Free to use and machine automatically dispenses detergent. There are driers also. - An expensive hotel to stay in but I guess you are paying for the location. Breakfast: - L4 breakfast music is too loud. At 6.30am in the morning who needs duff, duff, duff! We never went back! - Despite reviews saying this breakfast is a WOW we did not find it a wow. Actually it very was underwhelming. - Elite members can use their points bonus to enjoy breakfast on level 4 and in the club lounge. TBH what is offered in the club lounge is just a smaller and quieter version of L4 so we mostly dined there when/if we ate breakfast. Keep your points offer. Club Lounge: - Is nice and we found it comfortable with mostly an ok spread of food and self serve drinks. Some nights there was a heavy influence of alot of seafood. - Every night there is nachos! - The food is not hot temperature wise, when it should be. - At breakfast the cooks dry out the eggs and they are not enjoyable. - There were several nights when the club felt like a kids playground. Parents need to remind their children, quiet voices for everyone's enjoyment. - Breakfast in lounge they have 2 Balmunda toasters and honestly it takes 10+ minutes to toast bread if you want any colour in it i.e. cooked not warmed. It cooks one side at a time and very slowly. Why not have an oven for warming and a proper toaster for toasting! A shout out to Lisa Lim and her ever so smiling face, always looking out for us and asking if we needed anything. Lisa is an asset to your team. Marie Kim was also very friendly and welcoming. We would stay here again if we were to come back to Seoul. We definitely preferred it to the Westin Parnas. Thanks everyone 🙏

A new hotel in a great location on the edge of Myeongdong for the shopping and nightlife. We had a room on the 11th floor and it was nice and had good blackout curtains. There is a coffee machine and separate kettle in the room and you can also get coffee by reception 24/7 which is free. There is a nice modern gym on the 15th floor with 4 running machines and a view outside. The entrance is under the hotel (unclear if this is temporary due to local building work or not) but it requires 2 sets of lifts - first to the lobby, shared with the Moxy, then a 2nd up to your room level which means you need to leave extra time to move about at peak times. We didn’t eat breakfast here as it was easy to get coffee in the plentiful coffee shops of Seoul!

The hotel is situated in the Myeongdong district of the city so the hustle and bustle. Great location! The hotel is situated in the Myeongdong district of the city so the hustle and bustle. Great location! The hotel shares the building with its sister company Moxy (3ish star) so not a great 5 start experience when you arrive. Not sure whether you are in the reception. Area of a 3 or 5 start experience hotel. The rooms are modern, clean and a reasonable size. We tried having breakfast before we left but the man on reception could not be bothered to help and murmured something along the lines that the Breakfast area was not open until 10h30am (mmmhhh)… you could however see the Moxy breakfast room packed. Very confusing as surely the 5 start would be more flexible?!? We booked using some points we had so in effect a free stay. From that point of view it was therefore ok… but if I had to pay then it would be a miss. If I pay for a 5 star hotel I expect a 5 star experience… this felt more like a 4 star. Shame.
