Rather than repeating myself here is my review from the booking website: "We were warmly welcomed to the hotel by a non-English speaking receptionist, and given early check-in. Our room on the 7th floor faced the Inter-city Bus Station, with an openable window. The room, with a small table and 2 chairs, was just large enough to store our luggage on the floor. The room presented clean and tidy, large Smart TV with access to our Netflix/Youtube accounts. The mattress was extremely hard, unpleasant, and the 4 pillows were fresh but too high and extremely firm for a comfortable night's sleep. There was only a bottom sheet with a thick quilt, as the air-conditioning was noisy and did not work well we had to sleep with the window open. The bathroom is a wet room, there was a separate shower and a bath with a shower. FYI: The bath towel was a large sized hand towel. Breakfast was included but varies whether it is the weekend or not. On the weekend there is cut fruit, boiled eggs, toast and coffee (or bring your own T-bag), on weekdays, there is also soup and cut sandwiches. There was sufficient to eat, and the tariff is very reasonable. There was a convenience store next door to the hotel and restaurants/bakeries/cafes/supermarkets a short walk away. On the day of departure the receptionist offered us an additional hour to check-out without asking for." As independent travelers without a car we found the location of the Hound Hotel perfect for our stay, plenty of restaurants/cafes/convenience stores in the near vicinity, local and intercity buses, a reception to phone for a taxi.
