“great apartment in the old quarter.”

I booked a studio apt for about 45E , We knew exactly where it was as we have stayed many times in the hotel Nuevo Torreluz next door,which is also good value. I booked a studio apt for about 45E , We knew exactly where it was as we have stayed many times in the hotel Nuevo Torreluz next door,which is also good value. Maybe this was why we were upgraded to a one bed apt. on the 8th floor with a good view over Almeria rooftops from the large windows. good tv set with English news. good free wifi. large comfy double bed and a bath! the kitchenette was useful especially the fridge for milk,cava etc, Still no kettle though. While i appreciate they could be stolen maybe they could be handed back to reception. Mugs would have been better than small cups. There is a lift and parking is v close @ 10E. We will be back!

“Excellent”

Four of us stayed here in an apartment which was absolutely first class. Don't let the one star put you off it really is incredible value. A two minute walk to the paseo these apartments are placed in a superb location and it is also very quiet.

It is in a good position for the town, but a long way from the beach - however the beach is dismal, so it doesn't matter. The room & bathroom are large for a hotel room and very quiet & clean. It is in a good position for the town, but a long way from the beach - however the beach is dismal, so it doesn't matter. The room & bathroom are large for a hotel room and very quiet & clean. The decor is old but the price was good and the room very spacious. The hallways stunk of cigarettes, there was a 2 burner hot plate & microwave but no cooking utensils. It was difficult to know where to check in, tey need to let you know that you have to go the hotel reception. Same with the car parking, very difficult to find as poorly sign posted.

We booked the studio, the room was bigger than we expected so that was good. The kitchenette is pretty tiny. Not much you can really cook on it. The walls are thin so you will hear the neighbours, lucky for us our neighbours slept at night, so we had good sleep. There is a lift but is it is an old style lift so it takes a bit of getting use to working it, it is also very narrow, so basically one person and one suitcase at a time. The apartment building is opposite the Torreluz hotel which doubles as reception. There is a five minute parking spot for checking in and unloading luggage, then you are guided to a shared parking garage that has reserved spots for Torreluz guests. Access to the garage afterwards is easy as the door is just around the corner. The staff were great, as they directed us to everything and showed us how all the locks worked. The room is old and we did have a problem with the bathroom sink running but otherwise for the price it is pretty good value. WiFi worked well. The view was absolutely stunning. You can see the Alcazaba and San Cristobal which at night is lit up.
