Great location, friendly/helpful staff, very clean rooms and reasonable prices. Very close to train station and marina and main shopping/dining areas but also very peaceful inside.

My wife and I stayed at the Soho Boutique Equitativa for 4 nights during the last weekend of May. Firstly the location of the hotel. It is absolutely spot on, being right at the start of the marina promenade and equally, across the road directly opposite the hotel is Molina Lario, which is a wide pedestrianised walk along the main shops toward the old town area, where you have more bars/restaurants than you can ever hope to visit. The hotel has a bar on the ground floor, and also another roof top bar, and a small plunge pool. We had several nice evenings on the roof top bar adjacent to the balcony proving a lovely view over Molina lario. All the staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast is on the ground floor and is a continental style with the usual cold/hot offerings. Its was nothing particularly overwhelming regarding choice, but equally enough we would suggest to please most. There was no freshly cooked to order options though, such as an omelette for example. The nespresso coffee machines were also a bit hit and miss as to whether they would work sometimes, but a minor comment. Again the staff were quick at replenishing items and clearing tables etc. one morning it was busy and the waitress moved another table into the dining area for us, rather than make us wait for a table to become vacant. Good service ! As for the bedroom, we had a corner room with a view. The only downside is that on level 9, our view was partially looking onto the air conditioning units of the adjacent hotel. However, we really did not spend much time in the room and so were not really bothered. If you want a clearer view though, suggest you ask for perhaps floor 11 upwards. The air-con in the room would let us set it to as low as 19 Deg C, which was perfect if you like a cool room to sleep. It was also quite quiet in operation and so no issue sleeping with it left on. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean, with fresh towels provided each day if required (leave them on the bathroom floor if you require fresh ones), a room safe and descent size wardrobe. The noise insulation was also really good, and we heard virtually no sound from any adjacent bedrooms. The bedroom had a Nespresso coffee machines with a mix of pods if you wanted a quick coffee in the morning. The general decor of the room also looked in good condition and the shower was also noted as having really good water pressure, with either a large rain shower head or switchable to a hand wand. Many hotels have very poor showers, but this one was really good. Adjacent to the hotel is another hotel which also has an outside seating area. It is sheltered from the sun and also offers good service at its bar which we also tried a few times. We would certainly recommend this hotel based on its location and cleanliness.

“Lovely hotel”

We stayed here recently on a 4 night break to Malaga. The hotel is in a fantastic location, the reception staff were very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were good. Whenever we return to Malaga we will definitely stay here.

Ideal location near all amenities and sights. Well priced for Malaga. 🛳 ⛵️ Rooms were a good size and comfortable. Reception and help Front desk needs to be highlighted as they were very attentive and welcoming 🙏. Level 7 bar is a jewel of a spot with the views over Malaga...🥂
