“Superb apartment accommodation with separate bedroom and lounge with sofa bed. Brilliant location”

Location: excellent. 15 minutes walk from the Cathedral and one minute walk to a plethora of outdoor eateries. And yet it is far away enough that you hear no noise at all from the restaurant area. Location: excellent. 15 minutes walk from the Cathedral and one minute walk to a plethora of outdoor eateries. And yet it is far away enough that you hear no noise at all from the restaurant area. Also no traffic noise at all as the road is very quiet. Accommodation: I review as a disabled person to help other disabled people. Our one bed apartment (king size bed plus king size sofa bed) was brilliant. Very clean everywhere, and very modern. Bed was large and comfortable with plenty of wheelchair space on one side. Had to turn sideways to pass the end of the bed to get to the wardrobe, which is therefore not wheelchair accessible. Lots of storage and lighting in all rooms. Kitchenette was well equipped with full size fridge and large freezer. (Normal heights throughout). Dining table and four chairs with wheelchair space at one end. Large bathroom was very clean with a proper walk in shower and a safety grab rail in the shower cubicle itself (great for disabled people like me). Floor was not slippy and bath mat was provided. Nice shampoo and hand wash was provided in large pump bottles. Plenty of bathroom storage and hooks. The apartment (number 103) was big enough to easily cater for my mobility scooter (eg turning it around and charging it), which made life easier. It’s an ideal apartment for anyone in a wheelchair or using a mobility scooter. Proper blackout curtains which were really good; eye masks not needed. Air con was very effective and fully controllable. Entry was via a digital code so no key to lose. Service: excellent. Michael who booked us in was particularly good. But the other receptionists were all friendly and helpful. The rooms are only cleaned every few days, which is ideal for me as I’m not a fan of every day cleaning. Fresh towels were always available on request. Facilities: lift was a good size and fully operational (excellent for me as a disabled person). There are free washing machine and tumble dry facilities. Pool was excellent and featured stone steps to get in with a handrail. Water temperature was perfect. Shame they don’t have “no smoking” signs up: the hotel states the pool area is “no smoking” but with no signs, people abused this. It’s too small an area to have to breathe in other people’s smoke. Problems: sofa bed was broken. Loud mechanical noise above bathroom ceiling, the noise of which spread above the bedroom. Receptionists noted this immediately on reporting and stated they had 24/7 maintenance. Noise; no road noise and no restaurant noise from down the road. I am very noise sensitive and found that the scraping of chairs across the hard floor in any apartment on the floor above me woke me up though, even with ear plugs in. I could also hear the communal tumble drier once at 1.30am. And a loud mechanical noise every minute above the bathroom which was projected into the bedroom. Most people would probably not be bothered by any of these noises (my son wasn’t), but I mention them in case someone else is like me. Overall: superb choice of location, would highly recommend. If you’re in need of a rental mobility scooter or wheelchair, use Amigo 24 in Seville. Excellent service, they brought it to the apartment exactly on time and picked it up when we left. Reasonable price. The scooter was robust enough to deal with all of Seville’s cobbles. It really made a difference to what we were able to see and it turned out that wandering the back streets of Seville (me on the scooter over the cobbles) was our favourite thing to do
