Beautiful hotel the location was great stunning views from roof top terrace bar, the staff was excellent nothing too much much trouble, breakfast buffet was excellent, a variety of breakfast food to choose from you won’t go hungry, we also had a 3 course meal in the restaurants the food was exceptional, everything was perfect would defiantly stay at this hotel again and would be defiantly be reccomend to everyone 10/10

We absolutely loved our stay at the Ribera, what a beautiful hotel, with the most gorgeous staff who could not do enough to assist us. We stayed in a room with a balcony overlooking the city which I highly recommend as it was so relaxing and a way to enjoy the views and sunrise/sunset. A special thanks to Rafael, David, Daniel and Terciero (forgive my memory if this was the wrong name/spelling you checked us in and were super kind and took great care of us from check in) all of these guys were absolutely fantastic and made our stay super easy. Rafael and David were so funny and helpful. Rafael recommended some excellent restaurants to us as my partner is a chef and loves to experience local cuisine and we really appreciated all of their efforts. They could not have done more for us and made our stay soo enjoyable. Daniel also deserves a shout out as we sat with him a fair few times and chatted at the bar, you took great care of us and we loved speaking to you at the bar! Truly fabulous staff who go to great efforts to assist you and make you feel welcome. I cannot praise this hotel enough, I wish we utilised the roof top bar but we’re so tired after excursions and the heat that we didn’t go and have a drink but I wish we had as the pictures I saw online looked fab. However, we will definitely be back as there is so much more we want to see and we will definitely be back to this hotel as it was great! Beds were so comfortable and hotel was just excellent! Breakfast was delicious and had so much variety and I’m sure the rooftop bar drinks and snacks would be on a similar outstanding level. The location is great to return to when the heat became too much and we were able to relax in the air conditioned room and then on the balcony when the temperature reduced. We had a truly wonderful stay! Thank you for having us and making our trip so wonderful.

We have just returned from a fabulous week at the Ribera de Triana with friends staying in Rooms 006 and 007. The hotel is ideally situated near the amenities in Triana and across the various bridges are the main attractions of Seville. We visited the cathedral, the Alcazar, the bullring, the beautiful Plaza de Espana, the Torre Sevilla and had a boat ride along the river. We also took in a flamenco show and caught the train to Jerez. We had hoped to go to Cordoba but changed our minds as Cordoba was even hotter than Seville. The hotel itself is very modern and clean. The rooms are very comfortable but the main bonus is the rooftop bar and pool which have fantastic views over Seville especially at night. The staff are extremely helpful especially those in the breakfast room and rooftop bar but a special mention must go to Rafe in reception. He was always so cheerful and welcoming and was so helpful in recommending places to visit and eat. It is obvious that he loves his job and his city and he is a great asset to the hotel.

This is a hotel of contrasts. At first glance, the décor, public spaces and rooftop views give the impression of a luxury property. In fact, the design and aesthetics would not look out of place in a five-star hotel. However, while the hotel is officially four-star, much of the actual guest experience felt closer to three-star. On arrival, it seemed odd that we weren’t given a map or any local information. We were directed to speak to the information desk the following morning instead. Unfortunately, the experience there wasn’t particularly positive. The member of staff appeared far more interested in selling tickets and excursions than providing general advice. My husband was actually quite embarrassed by what felt like shameless flirting in an attempt to secure a sale, which made the interaction uncomfortable rather than helpful: resulting in him booking with an external tour operator. The location is one of the hotel’s biggest strengths. It’s perfectly placed for exploring Triana, with numerous cafés, bars and restaurants within a ten-minute walk. Most of Seville’s main attractions were also easily accessible, with Uber journeys generally costing around €6. Our room smelled lovely when we arrived and the air conditioning was excellent throughout our stay. We had a second-floor river-view room, although the view wasn’t particularly impressive due to the amount of tree cover at that level. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets appeared to be fresh daily. However, the room had several practical shortcomings. There was no mirror near the desk and chair, making it difficult to do hair or makeup anywhere other than the bathroom. Unfortunately, the bathroom mirror steamed up very quickly, so that wasn’t an ideal solution either. There were no USB charging ports in the room, and the safe wasn’t particularly intuitive to use. As there were no instructions, we didn’t use it. The bathroom also felt below the standard suggested by the rest of the hotel. The towels and toilet roll were noticeably poor quality and felt very budget compared with the surroundings. Interestingly, the same towels were also used at the pool. During our stay, used mugs in the room were not cleaned or replaced, which was disappointing. Noise was another issue. Housekeeping activity in the corridors was easily heard in the mornings, and despite being located at the far end of the corridor, we could still hear the lift repeatedly chiming from our bed. The rooftop bar on the fifth floor was one of the highlights of the hotel. It was busy, had fantastic views and created a great atmosphere. However, it was surprising that purchases couldn’t be charged to the room. There was also a beautiful cocktail bar with a pianist some nights, which looked stunning but remained very quiet during our stay. One frustration was that the bar menu was unavailable both online and in the room. An iron was not provided in the room. When we called reception at around 9.30pm, we were initially told we would need to wait until housekeeping arrived the following morning. After explaining that we were going out that evening and needed it straight away, one was eventually brought to the room, which we appreciated. The pool area had both positives and negatives. The sun loungers were excellent, but there was initially no food or drink service available around the pool. It was only after my husband spoke to a member of staff, Jose Juan, that drinks started being brought up from the bar on the lower floor. Jose Juan deserves special recognition for his helpfulness and willingness to assist. The drinks themselves were also reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the pool became very dirty throughout the day. While some of this is inevitable with sunscreen and heavy use, the waterline and scum marks were still visible the following morning, suggesting little had been done overnight to address it. Given how small the pool is and how many guests use it, this was disappointing. There were also some maintenance concerns. Parts of the corridor flooring appeared uneven and raised, almost as though there had previously been water damage underneath. It looked worn and potentially presented a trip hazard. Overall, there is a lot to like here. The location is excellent, the beds are comfortable, the air conditioning works brilliantly and the rooftop spaces are beautiful. However, there are numerous small issues that repeatedly detract from the experience. None of them alone would be enough to significantly affect a stay, but together they create the feeling of a hotel that looks far more luxurious than it actually operates. With a few relatively simple improvements, this could be a genuinely excellent property. As it stands, it feels like a three-star experience wrapped in four-star rating.
