Sure, this hotel is at the back of a petrol station... so what! The rooms are spacious and clean and the food in the restaurant is very good and it has a very nice bar. Owner and staff very friendly. Would stay there any time I was anywhere nearby in the future

Despite being located behind a petrol station, this small one-story hotel is in a charming setting, with gardens full of cats, a bridge, a swimming pool and, oddly, an artillery piece. The room is spacious and nicely decorated. The shower is good (not a bathtub), and the bed wide but with hard pillows. We couldn't hear any noise from adjacent rooms, but the electrical panel makes an annoying buzzing which is really audible in the silence of the night. The TV is very small. Breakfast was pretty basic, at the bar next door. Soundproofing: 4/5 Breakfast: 2/5 Bed: 4/5 Bath/shower: 5/5 Friendliness: 5/5 A pesar de estar detrás de una gasolinera, este pequeño hotel de una planta está bien situado, con jardines llenos de gatos, un puento, una piscina y, extrañamente, una pieza de artillería. La habitación es amplia y bien decorada. La ducha es buena (no está en una bañera) y la cama es ancha, pero con almohadas duras. No escuchamos ruidos de otras habitaciones, pero el panel eléctrico hacía un zumbido molesto que se escuchaba bastante en el silencio de la noche. La téle es muy pequeña. The hotel is hidden behind a petrol station, and could easily be missed. But the dozen or so motel-like rooms are comfortable (quirkily furnished with Victorian oddments such as school desk or a wash stand) and the bar/restaurant served good local food. The owner is a collector and restorer of vintage motor-cars and of agricultural implements, which are displayed around the grounds. Staff are attentive and helpful, and the overall service was very good. We were on a wild-life holiday, and the hotel made a good base to tour the bird-watching spots in the plains. The ruined Civil War village of Belchite is also nearby.

This is the place to stay if you are looking for Dupont's Lark. The hotel is very convenient and only a few minutes from the location where the Lark might be found. While I was staying there were two other birding groups at the hotel. You will need to rise early to arrive at the location where Dupont's Lark will maybe sing from an exposed perch. It does this only in the early morning. During the rest of the day it hides in the tall grass. You will hear it during that time but you will have to be extremely lucky to see it. The hotel has a restaurant with good food and beer. You will also see birds on the hotel grounds, but 90% will be Collared Doves. The hotel is also only 5 miles from Belchite where the memorial ruins of the Spanish War can be seen. I rated it a four because of the location. Otherwise it would be a 3.
