I stayed 3 nights while exploring the National Park (perfect location to do the hikes starting in Poncebos). Personnel very friendly, clean rooms & good breakfast (8 Eur). Centrally located & with free parking next door. Walls are a bit thin, though. Overall a great place in a small town with limited options, would happily stay there again (best to request a quiet room with a view)

“Flat on the big side. Good to reach Picos-attractions.”

Good flat with kitchen, though hot directly under the roof. Kitchen okay equipped for a few days, we only missed a bread knife. The entire flat big enough for the four of us. Boys slept in the living room. Big bathroom a plus. Everything clean and working. Location is good to reach many attractions… more

“Good motorcycle tour stopover”

We have used this place before. It has good secure underground parking (free). The room was small but reasonably equipped. The breakfast is basic but ok and cheap. It's in the centre of Arenas de Cabreles so you can walk to bars and restaurants easily. Our accommodation was actually two rooms so we had a double bedroom and a kitchen equipped with table, sink, cooker etc which we did not use but you could self cater here for a short while.

We stayed there for 10 nights and had a first floor apartment on the side (room 15) facing the mountain and side road. It wasn´t the quietest, but the traffic did subside and we could sleep quite well. However, we had to close the window (effectively a long door) so as not to hear the outside ´noise´but it got quite hot at night at this time of the year. Our 18 year daughter had to sleep in the lounge/kitchenette and on the first night they put her bed in our room, but they moved it the same evening even though it was quite late. I had, in fact, asked them to have the bed in the sitting room when reserving, but they obviously had forgotten! But they sorted out the mistake rapidly. Our room was spacious and had enough cupboard space for the 2 of us, but my daughter had to live out of a suitcase as there are no wardrobes in the lounge next door. There was a form of storage cupboard which was handy for our boots and walking gear. I actually wanted an apartment with 2 separate bedrooms, but they don´t have any. Having said that the apartment was spacious enough with a long passage way where I could dry my laundry. The reason I am giving this a 4 star rating is because the rooms were very clean and the staff (especially the brunette lady at the front desk) very friendly and whenever we asked for something i.e. iron, etc it was immediately delivered. The apartment was serviced every day which is very important to me, and they changed the towels every day (if you wanted), but I think the sheets were changed once or twice during our stay. The position is good, right in the centre of Arenas de Cabrales and there is a restaurant opposite (which is OK), but there are many other good places to eat in Arenas. We ate out every day as the kitchenette was too small to make proper meals, but perfect for having a morning breakfast of the delicious Asturian cheeses and meats. The kitchen was, however, well equipped with plenty of cupboard space, a washing machine, microwave, toaster, etc. Overall a pleasant stay, although a little expensive as you can find unserviced apartments in the area for a lot cheaper. Also not having a swimming pool was a minus for us especially after a long day´s walk in the beautiful Picos.

Room was spacious for a double bed and a single. Good bed but a bit hard. No enough room for clothing for 3 people. Parking is an issue if you arrive late at night as they share the 3 car parks with next door hotel. Night porter was a bit rude when I asked where I should park at 1.30 am with a kid tired and his response was I don't know, it's your problem you are lucky we don't charge for parking!!I'm surprise of such individual when the Reception staff was very friendly and helpful.
