Firstly the location in the Old Town is excellent and easy walking distance to all museums. This is less a hotel and more like serviced rooms. The room itself is great, but with the window only to a small courtyard. The check in is relatively easy, but read the emails carefully. If you do the online registration (email them if you don't receive or can't find the link on the booking email) and you'll receive an email after 2pm on the day of arrival with the access code to the front door, the entry door to the rooms area, and your room door. Thereafter everything is great.

“Great location”

Right in the heart of old Bilbao, this is an outstanding location to explore this vibrant city. Plenty of things to do and places to go. You can easily walk to the Guggenheim (it's a very pleasant walk by the river (can go from either bank) and will take you 15-20 mins depending on the pace). Plaza… more

Right in the heart of old Bilbao, this is an outstanding location to explore this vibrant city. Plenty of things to do and places to go. You can easily walk to the Guggenheim (it's a very pleasant walk by the river (can go from either bank) and will take you 15-20 mins depending on the pace). Plaza Nueva (or Barria on Google maps) is a stone throw away and visiting the Gure Toki is a must! I think it's the best tapas (sorry Pintxos) place in the city and beyond! The market by the river (a bit south from the property) is very interesting albeit relatively small. Fine products however! Rooms are a bit on the small size but this shouldn't be an issue for a short city break.

“Comfortable”

We only had one night as we were passing through, but the location in old town was fabulous. We only had one night as we were passing through, but the location in old town was fabulous. We were able to walk to and from both train stations, and were nearby to two cathedrals and many shops, tapas bars and eateries. The view out our window was beautiful. Quarters are fairly simple and straightforward: it is nice but not fancy. I would love to have more time in Bilbao and for the price I felt this lodging was great.

“Alright for some but not my kind of place sorry”

Well. The situation of these rooms is great no doubt. But they are rooms in a building which you enter with a code. The same code to your room. I did buy on Hotel.com but didn’t quite realise how claustrophobic the room would be. No natural light. No air con and a fan that only ran for 2 hours … more

Well. The situation of these rooms is great no doubt. But they are rooms in a building which you enter with a code. The same code to your room. I did buy on Hotel.com but didn’t quite realise how claustrophobic the room would be. No natural light. No air con and a fan that only ran for 2 hours so was woken up 4 times to get it going again. A massive crack in the shower tray floor must be playing havoc with the offices downstairs. On the plus side the bed was very comfy and of b CV purse very clean. All staff communication which was good was done in line so we never saw or spoke to anyone. Which I find a bit disconcerting. But as a budget stop over, if they fix the shower tray and redux the sign hanging on the back of the foot with tape then it’s ok. The staff via email appeared very very nice. I just found it a bit weird
