“Magical experience on the Camino”
I stayed here last night as a solo traveler on the Camino. This has been the most astounding experience. From the staff to the accommodations to the food.

“Lovely Hotel”
What a lovely gem of a hotel, we stayed one night while travelling along the Camino. The village of Cacabelos is a lively little place due to all the walkers. “Top Drawer”
In summary absolutely stunning. After a lovely walk through the vines, the hotel, the room, and in particular the lunch (which I would thoroughly recommend) which we had in the hotel was top drawer. The hotel at lunchtime was full of locals which I always think is a good sign.

“Very charming inn”
This inn, about one hour from Leon, was the perfect stop on our way through northern Spain towards Portugal. We really enjoyed the boutique, where we bought gifts, and then had a very nice dinner in one of the two restaurants.

“Fun place to eat”
A nice lunch sitting in the courtyard on a hot day. Wide ranging menu of home cooked tapas and food with excellent salads. Large portions of course as one comes to expect in this part of the world. Very nice hospitality and an excellent local wine list. Well worth a visit
