“A wonderful place to stay!”

“Great, but some (not all) unfriendly staff”

“Camino 2017”
This is a basic Hostal in Ponferrada. It’s about 1 km from the Castle. There is a cafeteria attached. The woman attendant at Cafe and Hostal speaks excellent English. “A very lucky find”
Managed to find myself in this wonderful, historic city during the Easter festival. A lovely young lady in one of the sold-out "completo" hotels found me this place. “Nice place”
This was my starting point for the camino. It was really quiet and comfortable. The staff was great and really helpful. Nice place to stay. It was directly on the camino route. Really clean and comfortable.
