Yet another cheap bargain last minute trip, this time it took us to Barcelona. Arrived at the hotel 3 hours early and was surprised to be let into the room at this time. Yet another cheap bargain last minute trip, this time it took us to Barcelona. Arrived at the hotel 3 hours early and was surprised to be let into the room at this time. It was a ground floor room and had a huge corner bathroom with a bath and shower, ( unable to use bath as no plug). Comfy beds, clean room that was serviced yo a high standard every day. On the 4th floor is an outside area with a plunge pool, several sun-beds, chairs and two relaxing beds, also a bar. Really nice area again clean and tidy. Friendly, nice staff. Centra Barcelona with the bus V3 just outside the door and H6 around the corner, both taking you most places around Barcelona or maybe to get link transport. Nice area , great location plus a nice little coffee shop a few doors away. Fantastic air con in the rooms. Would have actually got 5* except… a small pubic like hair left in the bath. Also this place has a membership and i joined which gave us a free bottle of water every day but thats about it as it is also meant to give 10% discount on food and drink but the pool Barman did not know anything about this. We decided not to go far one night as shattered from our day out so went yo the downstairs bar area to ask about food, was told by a very rude lady that downstairs was just for breakfast and when i continued to ask if we could eat in the bar area she totally blanked me and started talking to a spanish family that arrived after us with smiles and welcoming. We did not eat there and went elsewhere. Such a shame as i think this is a really nice hotel and did deserve 5*

“Poor”

This Hotel needs updating!!! do not come here if you value your sleep! The walls are so thin you can hear everything! The AC is like having a tractor in your room the lifts are slow and judder and one broke down causing a massive build up and are tiny can just about squeeze 4 people in. The houseke… more

This Hotel needs updating!!! do not come here if you value your sleep! The walls are so thin you can hear everything! The AC is like having a tractor in your room the lifts are slow and judder and one broke down causing a massive build up and are tiny can just about squeeze 4 people in. The housekeeping was poor as tea coffee etc not replaced. The photos of the pool are deceptive and although the best area in the hotel the pool is tiny so there’s no room to swim it’s just a dip in dip out cool down pool. My room was large as i took a suite but very outdated and no respite from adjoining rooms noise, I didn’t eat in the hotel as the areas were without windows apart from those in reception. Staff however were friendly i just wouldn’t return on that alone.

“Business hotel in residential area…air conditioning not active during early April”

The hotel is in a business residential area - ideally located for seeing a nearby business customer but seemed a good 30 minute taxi ride from tourist parts of Barcelona Travelling with 3 colleagues Breakfast was fantastic. Great choice The pool pictured on the website is very narrow and small. In early April it was unheated I arrived late at night and very polite and efficient reception team - same on checkout At 11pm my room was 25degrees C and the air con pushed out wArm air!! One of my colleagues called reception for help and was told aircon was disabled at this time of year. Recommend that you call before booking to ensure the aircon is indeed active when you arrive I managed to open windows on the 8th floor and personally slept well. My room was at the back of the hotel away from the main road. Other colleagues with rooms at the front found opening windows too noisy Coffee was in room but no fresh milk and Nespreso sachets. Expect more these days for business hotels. Mini bar in room but not used Room clean and I actually slept well All hotels that advertise as having air con really need to have it available year round or alert customers of blackout periods
