The hotel is excellent, it is absolutely spotless, the staff are all very polite, friendly, professional and helpful and will help in every way they can. Our room, on the ninth floor, was superb with a bedroom, lounge, bathroom and terrace. The breakfasts have to be seen to be believed - there is everything available. The restaurant is also very good, the service is first class and the food delicious. There is also a rooftop bar with views all over the city. The hotel is a little way out from the city centre but only about about a twenty minute walk from the beach, there is a taxi rank approximately fifty metres from the entrance and the tour bus stops are about a ten minute walk from the hotel. All around the hotel are little street bars and cafes that many of the locals frequent. Highly recommended!

Central located hotel. Professional and helpful staff at reception . Lovely room and quiet. We were here on a Monday and Tuesday nights . Central located hotel. Professional and helpful staff at reception . Lovely room and quiet. We were here on a Monday and Tuesday nights . The only negative comment I can make is that a drink of tonic cost 5 euros which I think is very expensive even for a hotel! However the rooftop bar is a lovely setting. If you want an excellent day out to see the highlights of the area book through Spainday tours . Our day was fantastic even though it was raining! A taxi back from the Sagrada Familia was 10 euros. I would also advise you to eat at Els Porxos which is exactly opposite the ,what is going to be, the main entrance to the cathedral. This was the most reasonable priced restaurant we found. The food and service were excellent.

Nice hotel, friendly reception staff, good level of decor and cleanliness. I had a room that faces an internal area, it was their cheapest room as I spend a lot of time away from the hotel room usually, however this time I had an injured foot so had to rest quite a bit. The room wasnt suitable for me to do this, however, the hotel has an amazing rooftop area with various seating options, plus a bar where you could also order food. This did the job admirably, but with hindsight I wouldve booked a room with a balcony if I had known. However, I was in a room very far from the lifts, where no one else had to walk past. I always appreciate this as other people are extraordinarily annoying at times, and I was concerned about prowling groups of males after my experience on the flight there! Not a problem though. Breakfast was good, lots of options and all nice stuff. The area around the hotel isnt particularly aesthetically pleasing, but it didnt appear unsafe, and its an easy walk to the usual tourist areas. I had a treatment booked, and used the spa facilities for a while beforehand. Make sure you wear the robe & slippers from your room and take as little as possible, they have very small lockers with keys provided. Good selection of different things to try out, and my massage was fab. Theres a little cafe in the lobby which serves snacks, that was very useful.
