What a wonderful environment. Yassine and his team are so welcoming and provided us with superbe service. Incredibly flexible and provided us with a memorable few days we will be back, including Pepper, our dog. Many thanks!

“Secluded and peaceful golf hotel”

Exceptional place. Small and intimate hotel with easy access to the decent golf course. After last renovation the rooms are much bigger and offer luxury bed. Tasty breakfast, although bit monotonous. Friendly and attentive staff.

Great find in a beautiful spot. Golf course is interesting and well managed - with everyone playing and keeping up a good pace. “Nice hotel, good golf but do not expect a gastronomic stop”

We stayed three nights at Hotel Torremirona Golf and Spa in Navata. The setting is undeniably beautiful with lovely views over the golf course and mountains in the distance. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a pleasant balcony - a nice base for a golfing break. The golf course itself is enjoyable despite visible effects of a very hot, dry summer. One big downside: gardeners continue using their machinery, while players are teeing off, which can be distracting. With an early tee time scheduled for the following morning, we opted to dine in on our first evening. Upon arriving at the restaurant, we found it extremely busy - and so noisy that conversation required near-athletic vocal projection to be heard. Seeking something quieter and lighter, we decided to order room service. Here, the experience began to unravel. Surprisingly, there was no room service menu. We went downstairs to place the order in person, only to be informed that delivery to the room incurred an additional surcharge - an unexpected detail to the least. As we were not particularly hungry, we ordered two salads and traditional “pan tomate”. When the tray arrived, it featured a single salad on one plate only, modestly proportioned - and certainly suitable for one person rather than two. Upon querying this, the response was dismissive: the salad, we were told, was indeed “for two”. The arithmetic was less convincing than the statement. The bill? €26.50 for what amounted to one salad of just green leaves, accompanied by two slices of bread that were regrettable not fresh, plus the delivery charge. It is rare to describe a salad as memorable - rarer still to describe it as memorable for all the wrong reasons. The following evenings, we chose to dine elsewhere - and enjoyed generous, well-prepared salads at a fraction of the price. Breakfast was pleasant and offered a decent selection - except for the Danish that were abundantly covered in honey or a kind of liquid sugar. Would we return? Possibly - for the golf. Would we stay again? Unlikely. A property set in such beautiful surroundings deserves service that feels equally generous. In short, we would likely to explore alternative accommodation options nearby.
